Stacy and Bob were so great! I believe it was our best party ever because of them. Stacy was so attentive to guests that each one felt special, while Bob was behind the scenes setting up food to ensure a wonderful flow to party! We would recommend them to anyone looking to have a fabulous party while enjoying it at the same time! Thank you so much Michelle for recommending these two gentlemen. I contacted Michelle due to her high number of excellent reviews on Angies List! From our first meeting she was very polite, professional, and helpful. I had a Bridal Shower for my daughter and everything went so smooth that I had no worries about the details and flow of the party. Michelle and Stacy, her staff member, were very attentive with both the food and drinks that I was able to mingle and enjoy the party. The food was amazing and all her personal touches made for a beautiful presentation. All of my guests were very impressed with her food and service. I even had someone ask for her card to use her in the future. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely use Superb Hors D' oeuvre's Company again!!

It was fantastic. She is so helpful and calm and reasonable and creative. The 4 employees she brought with her were polite and kind and pro active and hard working. Everything went without a hitch. The food was amazing, the presentation beautiful and the setting (our back yard) turned out gorgeous. This is the second time Michelle catered for us and I will keep hiring her. Contacted Michelle due to her company's excellent reviews on Angie's List. She and her colleagues deserve all great reviews. She was very professional and knowledgeable of all details for the party, not only about the services they would perform, but also about all little details I needed to worry about for a successull party. Being a single father, with multiple work and parenting obligations, I practically relied on her for all the planning. Never met her in person before the event, but she gave me that peace of mind and confidence that everything would be all right. They provided all catering for kids and adults, providing a bartender, a waiter and there was Michelle coordinating everything in the house. Approximately 18 kids and 22 adults. The food was excellent, great service, puntual, respectful and cordial. It was a great party, the kids and adults enjoyed it, and most importantly I didn't have to worry about any details once the party got started. I highly recommend them for any catering needs.

Having Michelle and her all staff cater our event really allowed my husband and I to mingle with our guests and enjoy our party. Everyone commented on how polite and professional the caterers were. I was personally impressed by the bartenders personal attention to some of our elderly guests. It would have been difficult for two of our guests to get to the bar area and back to their seats carrying drinks, so the bartenders (Carmen and Stacy) made regular trips to their table to see if they wanted anything. Another thing that was so very helpful was Michelle's recommendations regarding tables, table cloths, napkins, and drinking cups. If you don't have experience in throwing large parties, having her there to answer any questions and make suggestions was tremendously helpful. Lastly, her final check off lists prior to the event were really helpful in pulling everything together. I would not hesitate to recommend Michelle to anyone having an event.

Great! We needed a caterer for a retirement party. I stumbled upon The Superb Hors D'oeuvre through an Angie’s List search. As soon as I read all the incredible reviews, I knew that this was the caterer for our party. My gut feeling was confirmed with my initial conversation with Michelle Schulman. Michelle is a true professional. She patiently answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns about hosting a party with 50 guests in our house. With her expert guidance, the menu was selected. She detailed what she and her staff would provide and also gave me a thorough list of items that we needed to have on hand. The day before the party, Michelle emailed some last minute reminders and event details so that all would go smoothly. Michelle and her team arrived promptly 90 minutes before the party to prepare. They efficiently worked together to do all that was necessary before the party started. As soon as the first guest arrived, I was able to relax and have fun as Michelle and her staff (a server and bartender) just took over. I did not need to be involved at all, which was great! The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was impeccable before, during and after the party. Many guests commented on how warm and friendly Michelle, Stacy and Bob (her team) were and how all three went above and beyond. The party was a huge success and we could not have asked for more. Also, as others have commented, our house was spotless and you never would have known that we just had a party. Wonderful experience from beginning to end. We will most definitely call on The Superb Hors D'oeuvre for our next event and highly recommend them to others.

We were so impressed with Michelle and her staff. They were very professional and helpful. It was our first time having a caterer and she helped us step by step. Our party was for 30 people. Everything was wonderful...food was great. We had to deal with two downpours and Michelle and Stacy went above and beyond running through the rain securing tables, etc. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

The event was perfect, Michelle and her staff are all very professional and courteous, and the food was amazing. This party was the second event we used Superb Hors D'ouerves for. This party was 65 people and even though we dealt with issues with rain her staff helped me modify our plans last minute. I wouldn't hesitate to use Michelle again and recommend her company to anyone looking for a caterer .

Michelle was such a pleasure to work with. She listened to my ideas and then was able to create a menu that fit the occasion, yet offered a variety that I would have never been able to prepare. Superb is exactly how I would describe her and her company.This was a celebration that my husband and I were truly able to relax and enjoy. The food presentation was outstanding and so delicious. I would, and certainly did, recommend her catering services. This was a fabulous event and finding Michelle on Angie's List was one of the best decisions we made. Very professional and personalized service:  The event was a small venue for 14, finger food only. 
Michelle replied promptly to my email and we agreed on the menu following Michelle?s advice.  All morsels were delicious, every hors d?oeuvres pleasing to the eyes, the diversity and quantity plentiful.

From the very first engagement with Michelle I knew we were working a professional and knowledgeable person/Company.  Michelle asked questions to have a clear understanding of the event, and what was expected - and she delivered.  Always attentive, responsive, and thorough throughout the planning stages.  The event went off without a hitch - everything was set-up on time, the food was exceptional, the service attentive but not intrusive.  Everyone raved about the food, and had a wonderful time - all due to the professionalism of Michelle and her team.  The best part was the end when everyone went home, and my home didn't even look like a party had just happened.  Everything was spotless.  Will definitely recommend and use Superb Hors d'oeuvre in the future.

Our first meeting was on the phone and there was a connection right away.  Michelle was personable and knowledgeable about the food and quantities.  We had 40 people for an open house cocktail party and had concerns because we never had 40 people in our home at one time.   Michelle was very patient with all our concerns and questions.  We had several phone and email discussions and Michelle was always available.  Throughout the month of discussion, Michelle was positive, confident and reassured us that all would go well.  She was a pleasure to work with.
Our party was a hugh success!  The bartender was knowledgeable and personable and Michelle and her associate, Martha, were on top of everything.  Our guests were very impressed and several asked for Michelle's business card.  We did not have to do anything except vacuum after everybody left!

The proprietor worked the event. We had 25 guests. From point of first contact I knew this company was first class and that Michelle was a perfect fit for our birthday party. Michelle is great to work with - from offering advice on the menu, to communicating regularly to assure all aspects of planning were covered, to the exquisite presentation of a delicious menu, and finally to a spotless clean up. Our friends are still commenting on yummy food offerings. I really appreciated Michelle's calming presence, which was so helpful to me as host. She was able to (somehow!) keep the food coming and the service organized in a way that allowed the festivities to be enjoyed without skipping a beat. It was interesting to notice that many of our guests gravitated to the kitchen to chat with her. Michelle has my highest recommendation. I made the decision to have it catered so that I, and all of my friends that cannot stay out of the kitchen would do exactly that and enjoy the moment.  I looked on Angie?s list and found The Superb Hors D? oeuvre Co. I called and spoke with the president, Michelle.  We spoke for a long time and I felt a connection with her right away. She came to my house and not only helped me with the food selections but helped me sift through the many ideas I had for the shower
itself. She offered many creative ideas. She was wonderful and it is clear that she is passionate about what her company represents and she enjoys the entire process. When she left I was clear about my list of things to do and what she was going to do.  On the day of the shower everything was perfect!  The table was arranged beautifully and well before everyone arrived.  The amazing menu was displayed, the hors d?oeuvres were displayed exquisitely and there were many small details
added to make it perfect just as I hoped and more.   Everyone that attended the shower, including my daughter, loved how everything looked and the food was delicious. Michelle and Roger showed up at 4:30pm at our condo  for a wedding at 6: 00 pm. After a 10 minute discussion I let her take over and do what ever she saw fit to do. (She made me feel that comfortable.) As we were  getting married I did not have time for anything else.  We had 21 guest and the wedding ceremony was to be at 6:30. I never went near the kitchen and I never had to ask Michelle or Roger one question. At 8:30 the guest started to leave and Michelle had everything cleaned up, extra food was in the refrigerator and garbage was already disposed of. We literally did not even have to think about food and refreshments for the guest all evening. Our guest were equally impressed. The food was excellent and well presented. Everything we chose for the menu was of the best quality and taste. I would definitely use Michelle and her team again and would recommend her to anyone in our area.

It could not have turned out better!!! I had so many ideas on what I wanted to do and could not figure out where to begin. Michelle spent time with me on the computer looking at everything and piece by piece breaking it all down to come up with the best way to accomplish what I was looking for. We worked over the phone as well and Michelle was available at All Times!!! Michelle has so much creativity to share and I couldn't be happier that found her on Angie's List. We also met at a store where she was going to show me how to make headbands with bows for a baby and once we accomplished that we started seeing so many things that looked like it would work and we ended up staying there for hours just playing and putting it altogether. I also had her do some crafting for me and trusted 100% that it would be done perfectly and of course it was. Michelle is so talented and so fun and yet so serious when she needs to be that I don't think that there are many people out there that could do what she does. She has a lot of patience and I truly believe that she loves what she does. I honestly could not have been happier with the way that things turned out. Thank you again Michelle.....I will recommend you to every and anyone.

This is the third time we've hired The Superb Hors D'oeuvre Company to cater an event in our home, and since it's been a while since my last review of this amazing company, I wanted to write an update.  In March of this year, Michelle catered a wedding reception in our home for approximately 50 people for my dearest friend.  It was amazing!  The food was delicious, the service attentive but non-intrusive, and the bride and groom were thrilled with how everything turned out, as was I.

When we decided to have a Celebration of Summer party, I knew that Michelle would be my only call.  Because she was unavailable on the first date that I chose, I selected another date because I wasn't going to use anyone but the Superb Hors D'oeuvre Company.  We chose the same menu as that we'd had for the wedding reception because everything was so delicious.  Michelle and her colleague, Bob, arrived at our home 90 minutes before the event.  They immediately got to work, fine tuning the table setup, putting out the bottles of wine, organizing their work area, and leaving me with absolutely nothing to do an hour before the party began.  You can't put a price on that peace of mind. 

Throughout the party, Michelle worked on the food prep to make sure the serving dishes on the table were never empty, and Bob did an amazing job of ensuring everyone had drinks, napkins, etc.  The service truly is first rate.  Nothing - and I mean nothing - was overlooked.  They were everywhere, overseeing everything, and yet they were unobtrusive.  I don't know how they managed to pull that off, but they did so with warmth and professionalism.

At the end of the evening, the dishwasher was loaded, the trash taken out to the garage, the leftovers placed in containers in the refrigerator, and all I had to do was put my feet up and relax.  The perfect way to end the perfect party!

When I'd reviewed this company previously, I'd said that they would not be my first call, but they would be my only call.  With each event that they cater for us, that feeling is reinforced.  I honestly cannot rave enough about the quality of the food, the service, the warmth of the staff, and the lovely feeling of knowing that your guests are being catered to and made to feel so welcome in your home.  We have 2 - 3 parties a year, with an average of 45 guests at each event.  We wouldn't even consider having a party without Michelle and Bob there, making sure that everything is perfect.  I'm grateful to Angie's List because that's where I'd found this company, and I'm grateful to Michelle and Bob for all that they did to ensure our event was a huge success.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with from the first day that I contacted her. She has a passion for what she does and it shows in her work.  We spent a month or so planning the party and deciding on the menu.  She worked with me to create a menu that was enjoyed by all- not easy to do in a family of 22!  She guided me through the process of ordering the rentals which was a big help.  The party was fantastic not only because of her food but the service as well.  She timed everything perfectly so the food was always there when we wanted it and the service was handled with the needs of our family in mind.  I would recommend Michelle to anyone without hesitation.

The food and presentation were excellent.  The professionalism of Michelle and her staff are first-rate. They were accommodating and so cordial. My guests commented on how great the food was, but also how terrific the servers were. I?ve already given her contact information to  others.

Michelle worked with me on adapting a menu to fit the needs of different food habits of my guests. When I suggested healthier options, she gladly adapted this without any hesitation. She was always quick to respond during the planning stage, and was an absolute joy to work with.
