"This was the last phase of three projects which we hired NE Renovations to perform.    The project was done on schedule and on budget.  The carpentry work on the den ceiling corrected the problem and made it much safer.  The new paint in the kitchen and den looks great.  The new glass tile backsplash that Nick installed in the kitchen has given it a whole new look.  The project, while a somewhat small one, was not without its headaches.  But Richard made every effort to stay on top of things to make sure we were satisfied.

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. Most faucets come with a rubber or plastic gasket that prevents leaks—but that’s not always the case. If your faucet doesn’t come with a gasket or it’s leaking, use a caulk gun to seal the gaps and prevent water damage.

If you find moisture under your sink, you can clean up the worst of it with paper towels or regular towels. Then, leave the cabinet doors open to allow air circulation. You can also place a fan or dehumidifier near the cabinet to help dry it out a little quicker.

For safety when installing a vanity, attaching the vanity to the wall is ideal to prevent it from moving. Typically, sinks must be 4 inches away from bathtubs. Also, most states require that you have 21 inches in front of a sink, but the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) recommends 30 inches for more comfort.
