"We heard about pro clean and restoration from a friend's. We are so happy we listen to our friend's and hired pro clean for a detailed house clean. 3 workers showed up and I could not believe how well they all worked together. They were fast and extremely thorough. They clean everything in our home. Our windows, window sills, walls, all trim around doors and baseboard trim. They cleaned the bathrooms top to bottom getting all the build up off the shower that I could not get myself. In the kitchen they clean all The appliances inside and out. Cleaned the front and backs of all cupboard doors. Washed down all countertops and items on countertops. Vacuumed and washed all floors. Washed all lights, fans, light switches and baseboard heaters. Changed all bedding and linens. Vacuumed all furniture. We were extremely happy with the work.

"I highly recommend my house cleaner — she is absolutely wonderful! She leaves everything extremely clean and pays attention to every detail. When I come back home, it feels like it’s not even the same house because of how spotless and cozy it is. I recommend her with my eyes closed, and she is completely trustworthy."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

If you’re cleaning or repairing laminate floors, avoid anything abrasive like heavy-grit sandpaper or steel wool. Because the image layer is protected by a topcoat, the image layer is more vulnerable to scratches and damage if the topcoat is damaged. And if the image layer is scratched, it can reveal the wood fiber core.

Like any other type of flooring, you will need to keep up with regular maintenance on your epoxy floors to keep them in the best shape possible; however, it is not like hardwood floors inside a house, which require special care and more consistent maintenance.

Just make sure you use the right cleaning tools and solutions. Avoid using harsh tools like scrub brushes or hard-bristled brooms. You should also skip cleaners that are highly acidic, including white vinegar.

Floor polishing isn’t technically necessary, but it will help your floors last longer and hold up better to scratches. Floor polish is a thin coating that fills in small abrasions on your floor and makes them less visible, and it can act as a protective covering that prevents future damage to the floor underneath. Floor polish helps protect against water and moisture, so it’s a great service if you want to extend the lifespan of your floors. Additionally, polish makes your floors shine, making your home look cleaner and more inviting.

Clean your vinyl plank floors at least one to two times per week with a broom, vacuum, or microfiber mop. You can save the mopping and disinfecting for your deeper cleans about two to three times a month. Keep in mind that if you find sticky spots, spills, or stains, it's best to take care of them ASAP.

Buffing will only remove scratches at the surface level of your flooring. You may also need to apply hardwood floor wax to restore the wax layer. To remove deeper scratches, you’ll need another floor repair method like sanding; however, if you sand the floor, you’ll also need to stain and seal it.
