"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

Customers say: True professional

"Kyle and his team were wonderful! Everyone was professional, friendly, skilled, and responsible. It was easy to arrange dates for the work, and every question received a quick response. We were especially pleased to discover that environmentally-friendly baking soda was used for the "blasting/scrubbing" Of the beams in the basement. We have the highest praise for Kyle and his team - greatly appreciate the work they did in helping us!"

"Let me start by saying that having this water treatment system installed was the best thing we ever did! After Aerus Electrolux tested our water right in front of our own eyes, it was perfectly obvious that the well water, that smelled like sulfur most of the year, that we had been using for the past 15 years was full of iron, magnesium and calcium. I would like to give props to Mr. Chris Dow, the Aerus Electrolux Representative, for doing such an outstanding job of performing the test and thoroughly explaining how the system actually works and why it undoubtedly will make our lives much healthier. I am impressed by the fact that not only was this system installed expeditiously, Aerus Electrolux will send a representative to troubleshoot and repair the system if necessary should we run into any problems, anytime; all we have to do is contact them and it's done! And this will continue as long as the system is existing, even when we are long gone! In my opinion, just the service they provide gives us peace of mind; all I need to know is how to use the phone!"

"They were quick and thorough and knowledgeable and tested air inside and out and then recommended mediation. They don’t do that so there’s no conflict of interest. They recommended a company but left it up to me."

"I've used The Dump Guy twice now. This last time, I needed our basement cleaned out so we could have a leaking oil tank removed. They gave us an estimate of $1,500 and came out the same week. I know the job was bigger than they expected but the crew stayed at it. Among other things, they hauled out an old stand-up freezer and two large, metal desks. When they were done, I asked how much I owed them and Jason stuck to the estimate. I'll definitely hire The Dump Guy again because they are reliable, honest, and easy to work with."

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Toxic drywall has a sulfur smell, similar to rotten eggs or poop. It’s often a sign that the drywall mud is expired, there’s mold or mildew growth, or there’s a leak in your home. Drywall can also absorb moisture during storage, transportation, or installation, resulting in a distinct musty odor.

While fiberglass dust is not generally considered toxic, inhaling the fibers can cause irritation to the respiratory system, eyes, and skin. Short-term exposure may lead to temporary discomfort, including coughing, throat irritation, and shortness of breath. However, prolonged or chronic exposure can result in more severe respiratory problems. Unlike asbestos, fiberglass is not associated with life-threatening illnesses. To minimize health risks when working with fiberglass materials, it is essential to use proper safety measures, such as wearing protective equipment like masks and goggles.

Some states require mold removal specialists to be licensed, while others require licensed mold testing companies to create remediation protocols that any contractor can carry out. You can use our state licensing tool to find requirements in your area. Mold can grow quickly in wet carpet: in as little as 12 to 24 hours. That’s why it is crucial to take action immediately if there’s any sign of water damage under your floor. Remove as much water as possible with a shop vac and towels, then use baking soda to help remove moisture deep in the fibers. Always steam clean the carpet or use an antibacterial carpet sanitizer to kill any mold growth.

No, if you have paper towels or rags that are soaked in mineral spirits, you can’t throw them out like you normally would with household trash. When contaminated in this way, such objects are deemed hazardous waste and can only legally be disposed of with a hazardous waste collection program.
