I worked in residential remodeling from early 2020 to mid 2022 in Michigan. It started out with a tile bathroom floor, a backsplash, then quickly snowballed from there. I found myself doing full bathroom remodels within a couple of months that included heated flooring, curbless showers floated by hand, niches in showers, double herringbone patterns, and large-format tile. Once I moved to Maine in 2022, I went back to accounting for the stability and find myself once again with the itch for home remodeling.
