We are a locally owned business located on Rt 113 in Frankford, Delaware. We offer a wide range of services including PGT EZe-Breeze products and Alumax shower enclosures.

"The company installed the porch in the Spring of 2020 (May). During the contracting process it was noted by my father-in-law that the door on their drawings was not the desired door, and needed to be changed. It was noted by the company owner, Frank, but during installation, the crew installed the wrong door. A replacement was promised, and despite the incomplete job, my father-in-law paid Frank in full. In fact, Frank stood in my house and promised a "cleaning crew would be by this week to clean the windows and finalize the installation..." - never happened! It's now September, and the replacement door has not been installed despite two appointments scheduled by Premier when the "replacement door was shipped to us..." but in fact were not the correct door. Frank gave us his cell phone number when he received the full payment - but ignores/doesn't return any messages left on his cell phone. It's been four full months, and we still have not received a completed project. I am in a new development, and many of my neighbors have asked me for a reference for Premier...which is not given!"

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Most window screens in residential homes are designed to be removed from the inside, especially with double-hung, single-hung, and casement styles. That said, some setups require exterior removal. Older homes or custom installs may have exterior clips or brackets, and sunscreens are almost always mounted on the outside. Before removing your window screen, look at how it is held in place.

Most standard windows can accommodate solar screens, but specialty shapes or non-standard frames may require custom solutions. It’s important to consult with a professional to ensure compatibility and proper fit for unique window designs. Arched, bay, and fabricated windows often need fabricated screens, which can increase costs and lead time.

The cost ultimately depends on size, but roughly, the most popular screen materials will set you back anywhere from around $0.25 to over $25 per square foot. Fiberglass and aluminum are usually less expensive at around $0.25 to $0.70 per square foot. Solar screens cost about $7.50 to $15 per square foot, while security screens range from around $10 to $25 per square foot.

Screen repair is always worthwhile, as tears and holes in your windows and door screens are unsightly and allow pests and debris into your home, rendering the screen useless. The faster you repair your screens, the faster you can open your windows and doors freely to let the fresh air in. Consider repairing multiple door and window screens during one appointment with a screen repair technician to make the investment and labor costs worth it.

Storm doors are different from screen doors in a few ways. While screen doors are simple structures designed to keep out bugs and allow air circulation, storm doors are heavier and designed to protect your home’s entry door from weather and intruders. They are made of aluminum with tempered glass panels to allow natural light in the home.
