"Because of the great service from Best Buy I feel compelled to update my review below. My situation was complicated. A spring runs continuously under our slab, there was water in several places within our finished basement, and there was a leak under a supporting I beam. Best Buy, unlike other companies, warrants the entire floor, not merely the area around their work. This warranty is invaluable as my experience demonstrated. Andrew, the owner, and his crew came out at least 5 times, sometimes on short notice, once on Sunday, to figure out how to solve all of the complicated issues. They had to build a perimeter drain, a lateral drain, and a speed drain and they had to epoxy around the supporting beam. On one occasion I called because there was a damp spot in one place, but Andrew pointed out several others that I'd missed. Of course, it wasn't in his interest to do so as it required more work. I highly recommend Best Buy!"

"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. "Excellent wish all my contractors came out this good.  showed up for the estimate on time and had a video that showed the steps to fix the basement.  measured  the basement and made up contract.  when I mentioned angies list and deals offered we built it right into contract without printing coupons and stuff. were quick with availability came out the following week.  foreman (Dan) was on time and double checked everything before starting .Wanted to move sump pump and outside drain to a less used area. not a PROBLEM. Was loud and cold in the house all day as if you run the furnace while they work it comes through the vents.  laid out carpet protectors and were done in only 1 day (the estimator planned 2)  Jackhammered the floor out and dug down to foundation laid new drains and installed new sump pump. they brought 5 people and they all worked hard constantly for the day.  lost track of all the buckets after 30 (5 gal. buckets).removed with old crap.  Explained all the warranties and paperwork with new sump pump.  Have to wait for the concrete to dry. it's now 3 days later and I'm ready to put the basement back together.  Looks great and can't wait to use the basement without wet and damp floors and walls furnace)  did forget to put screen back in basement window but if you have leaky walls and damp floors this is nice.  any problems after the next big rain I'll let ya's know.
