"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"The Tile Artisan is a pleasure to work with and we can't say enough great things about this contractor and his teams.  Paul Bender was great to work with from beginning to end.   We were so pleased we added two additional jobs to the original plan.  Paul is extremely knowledgable. His consultative style up front, and throughout our project was very helpful.  He is committed to providing great service and making sure his clients have the outcome they hoped for!  Our project was fairly extensive due to storm damage.  Paul worked with us closely throughout the project and provided helpful ideas and suggestions. He is especially helpful and collaborative when little things happen, and is a great troubleshooter and always has options to solve little challenges.    We had two Tile Artisan crews during our projects and they were both very clean, responsible and hard working.  They had great attention to detail and are truly Tile Artisan's. Several of our designs were a bit complex due to materials but they did an outstanding job installing them and planning  the tile layouts.  They cleaned at the end of each day which we appreciated in a very busy household.  The Tile Artisan also sells cabinetry if you have not selected cabinetry. We selected Kraftmaid cabinets initially but after talking with Paul and evaluating our needs, we ended up ordering cabinets from Tile Artisan as well and absolutely love them.  Paul has partners he works with for granite, shower doors, etc who we found excellent to deal with and who provide great service to Paul's customers.  Overall, we had a great experience and have three friends who are currently under contract with The Tile Artisan for bathroom and kitchen projects large and small.  After working with numerous contractors over the years, Paul and The Tile Artisan provide the best service at fair prices.  You won't be disappointed.

"It went great! I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Their sales person( Mr. Williams), met me at the house and showed me several ways to keep the cost down. I had decided on granite counter tops for durability and maintenance but knew very little about the product. Mr. Williams took me to the show room that they use and answered all my questions about the different grades of granite offered. We found a color that blended well with my flooring. I ordered  the cabinets  and was not disappointed, and they arrived on schedule. The installation of the cabinets and counter tops went off without a hitch. I am very pleased with the quality and price that I paid. Next year, I plan to replace my current kitchen and I definitely will use this company again. Very nice and professional!"

"Very satisfactory. He came on time to see what needed to be done. He and my son looked it all over and decided how to repair the roof. Mr. Stehm (I believe that is his name, pls forgive my mistake if I'm wrong) gave the most reasonable price. I got another estimate from another outfit for $1,000.00. Mr. Stehm came on the appointed day and fixed the roof w/in a reasonable (4) hours. Also, he cleaned up after himself.

"George's painting, inc was responsive and professional from start to finish. The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. He was easy to reach via cell or email. The estimate was more than fair. His crew completed the job in three days. The crew was polite, professional, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of each work day. I highly recommend this company and would use them again."
