"We had three companies give us an estimate to repair the leak and all of them recommended replacing the entire roof on our garage, home and porch. It was time to replace the roof (based on age and wear/tear), but we were facing other large expenditures at the time, so our preference was to repair the leak (lower cost) and save up for the roof for another year. Jim was willing to repair the leak for a reasonable fee and was able to do the work within a few days of contacting him. We were doing some remodeling inside our garage that had to be put on hold when we found the leak, but thanks to his help, we were able to finish that project without much delay.

Other companies we called either wanted to charge us a fee to give us an estimate or were backed up for several weeks. So thankful to have found Jim's company on Angie's List! He's very knowledgeable and laid back - so we didn't feel pressured one way or another. And he was honest - said if we were going to replace the roof in a few months anyways, it wasn't worth spending the money to repair it. He said to just wait the few months and then do it all at once. "Not only did Aaron (carpenter) of Home Pro Roofing do exceptional work on the many different projects around my house that I contracted for, but he came up with innovative solutions to a couple of projects that I was told by other contractors could not be fixed. I was very impressed by Aaron's resourcefulness and creative approaches to fixing what other professionals said could not be fixed, and he performed the fixes inexpensively. Additionally, Aaron constructed from scratch a beautiful and quality gate to my backyard that was very reasonably priced compared to quotes I received from a couple of professional gate builders. All the work performed was done with quality and pride and even the cleanup was thorough. Finally, not only was the original estimate from Home Pro for the various projects very reasonable, but they came in on budget (i.e., stuck with their original quote). "They used strong chemicals to remove all the mold and algae build-up from the siding. But did the entire job from the ground, didn't use any ladder. So, the extreme top parts of the house, fascia and definitely the gutters did not get that clean. When buying the deal it did not say that the entire job will be done from the ground. In fact the photograph showed the contractor on the roof power-washing the upper part of the siding. Not very impressed with the service."
