Over the next twenty-three years, Mr. Mauer developed a highly respected specialty foundation contracting company, serving the State of Maryland. Unfortunately, Mr. Mauer died tragically in 2014. Levelift Foundations, LLC was formed as a means of keeping the core of Levelift Systems together and continuing to be a leading installer and foundation designer, for the CHANCE helical pier system, in the state of Maryland. Our certified helical pier installers are trained and certified by CHANCE® and we offer both residential and commercial foundation solutions in Maryland and the surrounding areas.

Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. "The first engineer plan I received was on letter size paper as a PDF with blurry letters and numbers. No one could read it, not even with a magnifying glass. It did not meet the Montgomery County Building Permit inspection. IThe engineer explained everything well when he came to the house but did not provide a plan that met the requirements of Montgomery county. Because I lived far away I had to send my check US Postal mail and wait for the plan to be emailed to me which had me worried about whether I would be scammed. I offered to come to the engineer with the check but he turned me down. I had to have 3rd party conference call to get things going right."
