"Coastal Bay removed our existing soaking tub and adjacent shower stall to make way for an oversized tile shower and much-needed bathroom storage space. They handled everything from demo (tub and tile removal) through finish work (luxury vinyl plank flooring, drywall, trim, painting), and installed a beautiful new tile shower and new toilet. It was a pleasure working with Stephen and Dustin to plan this project, and the specialists who executed the plan were exceptional - every person on this job was professional, skilled, friendly, reliable, and on time. Plywood is the best type of subfloor for a mobile home, though if you’re installing flooring in a bathroom, you may want to install a vapor barrier or use a moisture-proof subfloor material like Amdry. OBS is similar, but it can swell when moisture is present. 

Either way, old mobile home subflooring made from particleboard can cause issues with your joints. If you’re replacing your subfloor, it’s best to upgrade to plywood.
