"I've been working with the company for years turning my problematic back yard into a relaxation oasis. These folks are courteous, professional, punctual, hardworking and exceptional craftsmen. Any job they do, from simple garden clean-up/restoration to installation of patios, is done well and with a minimum of disruption to the homeowner. I continue to use their services and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors."

"Made quick work of our initial yard drainage issue, and did a great job. Still some residual problems to deal with though, so hard to say if the scope is larger than we thought, or if more could have been done previously."

"The services actually delivered were very good, but there were at least two instances when communication with me about the delivery of services was delayed. Once recognized, the company made concerted efforts to correct the problems."

"The work went well. Gary's price was significantly better than the other quote we received. He was responsive in phone communication and provided excellent advice about how best to finish the garage floor. They managed to complete the demo and foundation work and pour the new concrete all in one day; the work appeared of good quality, the crew was helpful and polite, and the final work matched our specifications well. They did an especially good job smoothing the concrete so it has a very flat and even surface. I would very happily hire them again."

"Jerry was prompt and courteous, he was knowledgeable about the planting he recommended. Everything has not always gone perfectly with the work that Jerry has done for us first time, but in EVERY case where we have not been satisfied, Jerry was able to rectify any shortcomings that we agreed upon. I think the ability to fix problems is really important. I have reused Jerry several times and wholeheartedly recommend him and his team to others."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Pond installation costs typically range from $1,500 to $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the pond's size, the materials used, excavation requirements, and any additional features such as waterfalls, lighting, or specialized habitats for fish like koi.

DIY kits exist, but professional installation ensures proper filtration, landscaping, and leak-proof construction.

Most outdoor water fountains and features do not use a lot of electricity, typically consuming between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the fountain's motor can impact its overall electricity usage. To reduce energy consumption, you can use a timer to automatically turn the fountain off at night or when you are away from home. Additionally, installing solar power components can help lower electricity costs after the initial investment is recouped.

Small ponds can be drained and filled in about a day. Larger ponds will take two or three days for professional removal.

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.
