He came over, analyzed the problem (the refrigerator was not controlling the temperature, making it too cold so some items froze), then confidently proposed a solution (defrost sensors and thermostat). He ordered the parts from Samsung and did the repair work flawlessly. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. When I tried to contact him 2-4 days later to avail myself of the 90-day warranty, he was unresponsive.

My fridge and dryer were not working, technician from Mohtech came and looked at the fridge and the compressor had stop working. He said he would be able to fix it same day and he did. Dryer was coming on but the clothes were not drying, he said the element was bad and that he had some in his truck. Needless to say the also fixed the dryer same day. So yes I would definitely use them again and highly recommended. The pricing was very fair compared to the quotes I got from other contractors.

The compressor on our refrigerator died. Mohtech immediately responded to our request and within an hour a technician was there. He confirmed it was our compressor and having one on his truck installed it right away. Charges were quite reasonable, senior discount applied without asking for it, and the refrigerator was cold again within a few hours.

The technician came to my home for which I paid $50. He assessed the oven burner and confirmed that it had to be replaced. He took all the information and said that when they made the repair, they'd credit the $50 for the visit. Weeks later when I hadn't heard back, I contacted them. They said that they had lost all their information due that happened in their office? They never said.) They asked me to get the model number, etc. and resend. I did. Again weeks passed, when I reached out again, I was told that they didn't have any record of my repair. I asked to speak to the owner, and after being put on hold for several minutes I was told to email him instead. Now another week has passed with no reply. All this has led me to the unpleasant conclusion that they are either incompetent or are running a scam. I would avoid them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Mohtech responded to my request immediately and said they would have someone in just a couple of hours. The technician arrived promptly in designated time window. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Work was completed and seems to be working well. Price was reasonable.

Initially alright, but now not good. The refrigerator portion was freezing fruit, juices, milk, etc. Also, the ice maker no longer worked. Khalid diagnosed the problem as the compressor. He said this was a major problem with LG refrigerators. Khalid convinced me that a new compressor would solve the problem. Against the wise advice of my brother who recommended I just purchase a new refrigerator, I paid Khalid $724 for the new compressor and labor. I am still having the same problem, frozen fruit, milk, etc., and the ice maker still does not work. Khalid has come back twice post installing the new compressor, but he has been unable to fix the overarching problem nor the ice maker. Khalid indicated that I may need a new ice maker. He was supposedly going to get a diagnosis, from LG about the ice maker, but he never got back in touch with me. Khalid is not replying to my texts nor returning phone calls. I don't know what has happened. Up until this point he had been professional. The warranty for the labor is only 90 days, I don't know about the compressor, which will expire mid September. I would hope that he would contact me to rectify this matter.

I was contacted very quickly after submitting a request on Angie's. The communications were prompt and clear. They scheduled an appointment window for the next day, came in within that time window, quickly analyzed the issues, found and purchased a part locally and fixed the dryer. All took a few hours, but the tech was very polite, courteous, and professional. The quote was reasonable, the estimate cost was rolled into the cost of the service, and the amount did not change at the end. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and the company. I found it to be easy to work with, reliable, reasonable, and effective.

Before I began the service, I asked the technician for a guaranty as his quote was to the point where I was considering just buying a new fridge. The technician told me that he guaranteed the fix and said they would fix any issue. With this in mind, I decided to go forward with the repair. I wish I had not done that. The fridge problems reappeared shortly after the attempted repair. MohTech did send a person out but the person could not fix it again. Then, MohTech agreed to refund me but not the full amount. They also sent me a weird message when I asked for a full refund about how I’m lucky to have food.

Great job. We were very happy with his work and he repaired our refrigerator. It's working great now. He came on time and communicated everything to us in a timely manner. He was honest and told us what was wrong. He didn't pressure us at all which I appreciated. He did exactly what he said and was easy to work with and very friendly. Would definitely hire again and most certainly recommend to anyone I know.

Khalid did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem with the refrigerator. In the end, I did not get the refrigerator repaired and bought a new one. Khalid was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to make that decision. He did what he could to keep the refrigerator running a few more days until I could replace it. I will definitely use Mohtech to provide maintenance on my new refrigerator.

Extremely well. Khalid, Mohtech's service provider, responded promptly to an emergency on a Saturday morning and is a quite knowledgeable technician. Our 13 year old refrigerator has been returned to service and is operating properly.

The temperature control and ice maker in my freezer were both broken. I received estimates from a number of companies and MohTech was very competitively priced, but also had the lowest initial estimate fee. Khalid was very responsive and polite in setting up appointments and I even received text notifications when he was on his way to my house. He was extremely professional every step of the way in explaining what was wrong and how long it would take to get parts and fix. I had some difficulties with the ice maker following the first visit and Khalid came back out free of charge to take a look at explain to me what I had to do in order to make it work. I'd absolutely use MohTech again and highly recommend them for any appliance repair needs.

Went Very Good But Was Time Consuming!

We decided to buy a new fridge instead, on the advice of the repairman. So we paid only a (very reasonable) service fee for the in-person assessment.

It went well. They answer my request promptly and they came on time. They had a reasonable price.
