This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). David found a well priced substitute that worked, but not as efficiently as the original. When I told David Iâ d found a different model to try, he was more than willing to come back and replace the other one. After he installed the second stat, he returned the first and refunded the cost. Aside from doing a professional job, David is just a very pleasant person to be around.
