As an authorized dealer, we install more Generac Generators than any other contractor in the Maryland and Virginia areas. We deal in many generator sizes ranging from 7KWup to 150KW. We have the ability to design and install a system for your home or business, and are certified by Generac to do warranty work and repairs. Also, we offer “Break-ins”, Annual Maintenance Agreements and Extended Warranties. Boyland Electric is your one stop shop for all electrical and generator needs. As of Jan. 1, 2014 we have now become a "KOHLER DIRECT" generator Dealer. This is the highest ranking and a Great privilege form KOHLER. We are one of a few Dealers in the MD, VA area to receive this from KOHLER. All work done by Boyland Electric is always performed in a professional and conscientious manner. I had a whole home generator installed. The work is flawless and they kept me in the loop throughout the install. I had them back out to do some other minor electrical work because I was so pleased. I'd highly recommend Boyland to any of my friends.
The Generator needed repairs and some new parts - Boyland diagnosed the problem, got the parts quickly and fixed the Generator completely. Great work --
They also did the semi-annual regular maintenance on the Generator - again very professional, very prompt, very courtesous. Could not have been better and we could not have been happier.

I was scheduled for a routine maintenance inspection and the tech arrived on time to service my unit. While the tech was working I noticed that he took special care when checking the unit and refilling the fluids to ensure there was no spillage. The tech wiped down the interior and exterior of the unit to ensure all surfaces were clean and dry and he thoroughly checked everything to ensure the unit was working properly. Before the tech left, he asked if I had any questions or concerns that he could address. I did not have any questions or concerns. The tech did an excellent job. I trust that Boyland will maintain my generator.
In addition, I would like to add that the office staff and the owner of the company provided outstanding customer service in helping me with my purchase of the generation. I will recommend Boyland Electric to my family and friends.

time for the part to arrive. The staff at Boyland where very pleasant and made every effort to get the part to us before that big
snow fall in January. Gavin is a wonderful technician and worked very hard to get the part replaced - it was not an easy job as the rotor was apparently fused to the unit. I will continue to use Boyland to service our generator in the future. It should be noted that
Boyland worked with Generac to get us money back for the deficient part, that was very good of them.

"First of all I want to apologize for any miscommunication that we may had with you. Buy me reading your issues with use I have determined that you must have us confused with another contractor you may have had out before us. Our tech was on your place on 2/17/2016 and he did arrive in his designated window of 9 to 11am. He may have got there closer to 11am and I'm Very Sorry for this and him not calling, that's not like Gavin. The total invoice for the work he performed was $917.82, not $3000.00! For this reason I can only assume you have confues us with someone else but I'm VERY sorry for our mishap and hope you will still use us and we base 95% of our work on referrals. We are far from perfect and strive everyday to make customers happy. Best regards Doug"
