"Stabil solutions did a fantastic job of levelling my driveway when portions of it had sunk with age and erosion around it. They also did similar work on the walkway to the house, and put a decorative, protective coating on it. Looks great! A year after the work, a small flaw was discovered in the walkway work, and the owner himself came out to correct the issue. Very impressed with the way they stand behind their work. True customer service. I will use them again if the opportunity arises."

Complete Concrete Systems provides a full line of concrete work including decorative concrete (staining, polished, polyaspartic coatings for garage floors) as well as foundation repairs, restoration of damaged concrete, and all types of flatwork.

"Did not grind. They said it did not need it. Had a patio and walkway stained and sealed. They took a phone photo of the wet concrete. When it dried it was a disaster. Concrete coming through the stain. Immediately called to come look at it but since I had only paid 1/2 down the owner, Jason Stolba refused. Saying when I paid the balance he would check it out. The salesman said I was a pain because I kept calling when he was at the hospital visiting his sick mother. I asked how am I to know where you are? At this point Timothy Partner got very nasty telling me I was tiring with all my questions. I have a multitude of pictures I could furnish I asked Mr Stolba for my money back and he said if I took my negative review down he would comply."

"It went terrible. It was quoted as two days but took 30. They ruined my newly sealed driveway by spilling and tracking materials everywhere on it. They ruined my front walkway and steps and tried to refinish twice. They had to roll on some shiny finish onto my driveway to cover up all the mess. Spent many inconvenienced days with driveway blocked or sitting waiting for them to come every few days. They include a lien clause in their contract which is easily filed so rather than sue for terrible workmanship, I just paid them and sent them on their way. I do not recommend them to anyone. There are many others doing this work, wish I would have chosen one of them."

The number of concrete bags you'll need depends on the width and length of your fence post hole. A 50-pound bag makes about 0.375 cubic feet of concrete. So, if your hole is 30 inches deep and 12 inches wide, you'll probably need around five 50-pound bags for each post.

Although some concrete cracks are cosmetic, others can be more serious. Cracks wider than ⅛ inch or that extend through the slab are serious and can cause structural damage. If you notice these types of cracks in your concrete patio, contact a local contractor who installs concrete patios to inspect the damage and determine how to fix it.

It is not advisable to pour concrete directly on dirt. Even compacted soil—known as a subgrade—is not strong enough to maintain the form of concrete. You can, however, pour concrete over concrete as long as the overlay has proper bonding agents and the slab below is clear of damage.

The easiest way to handle extra-wet cement is to pour it, let it harden, and then recycle it using one of the methods above. You can also crush it down and sell it for base materials, although this can be pretty time-consuming. Your best bet is to start with less concrete than you need and make more as you go to avoid this problem.

The best plan for removing rust stains from concrete is to progressively move from weaker cleaners to heavy-duty acids. Move from dish soap to vinegar to oxalic acid to muriatic acid, stopping whenever the stain is sufficiently removed. This process ensures that only the safest possible methods are used, rather than jumping right into a powerful cleaner that may be effective but unsafe and unnecessary
