"Do not buy pella windows or doors. I had $28,000 worth of Pella Designer windows installed 21 years ago. Over time, the seal between the glass panes has failed, allowing moisture to enter and cause the window sash to rot. I contacted Pella, but they state that the 20 year warranty expired last year, and they will not provide any relief or replacement. However, the damage occurred during the warranty period, but was invisible until this summer when a rotted window sash literally fell apart as shown in the picture. Through some internet searching, I found that the Pella Designer series windows has had a long history of this problems, and consequently Pella has discontinued the line. In spite of knowing that these windows were prone to seal failure and the potential damage, Pella did not take any steps to inform me of ways to inspect and perhaps take preventive measures to prevent the damage from occurring. These windows were improperly designed, and the pella falls way short of the image that they present on their website."

Certified by all major manufactures, we've seen just about everything that can happen to roofs and we're her to share that experience with you. Mars Restoration brings a higher standard of roofing to Maryland and Northern Virginia.

"I normally don't give negative reviews but I had to make an exception with my dealings with Mars Restoration. After the wind storm of March 2018 I put in a claim with my insurance company and then contacted Mars. They tarped my roof and said they would work with my insurance company to replace my roof. I never heard back from them until I called because the tarp had come loose and I had leaks. The guy that came out gave me his card and told me to email the claim to him which I did. I never got a response even after leaving a couple of voicemails on his mobile phone. Now over 4 months after that the tarp is loose again and not only do they want to charge me again to tack down the tarp and want me to sign a contract to have them install a new roof, they are blaming me although I've made at least 10 calls to them trying to see if they had contacted my insurance company to have the roof replaced. They never return calls and it became obvious that for whatever reason they didn't want my business. The rep told me "I think we should part ways" and even encouraged me to post a bad review. Mind you that I was never nasty or disrespectful. It's unbelievable that a company would be so pompous and arrogant that they could care less about a potential customer."
