"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. I am a professional with over 25 years of experience assembling products for both residential and commercial customers. I have extensive knowledge with furniture, fitness, grills, etc. I am not a jack of all trades. I do assembly only. I remove all part stickers, touch up any scratches/nicks and adjust all doors and drawers. I respect my customers home/office and leave my area with the trash put back in the boxes and the boxes neatly stacked. So feel confident hiring me for your next assembly. I look forward to working for you. Things to know: I require all items to be in the location they are to be assembled. Assembler does not equal mover. If a box is too heavy do not be afraid to open it and move the pieces. This will not make the job harder or confuse me. Thank you for your cooperation. I do new assembly only. I do not repair/upholster anything or reassemble old items with loose/missing hardware and no manual. I do not hang/mount tvs. Not on the wall or on a tv stand. Not anywhere. I do not hang/mount things on or to walls/ceilings. I also do not assemble items that must hang/mount on or to walls/ceilings. I do not wear a mask. I am vaccinated and believe in the science not the politics. If you do hire me then require that i wear a mask when i show up or cancel for any other reason I will expect a $50 payment for wasting my time and yours. Thank you for understanding. You’ll either need to contact your local building department or your septic tank company to ask if this is necessary before carrying out the work. Permits are not typically required to have your septic tank pumped, so provided your septic company is licensed, you can move forward with the work as needed.

Never use Drano on blocked toilets. You can end up with a ghastly leak because the chemicals eat away at the glue that holds pipes together just as effectively as they do with clogs. Drano is known for being particularly rough on toilets, which is why some plumbers actually dislike the product. 

Pump the tank every 3-5 years, avoid flushing non-degradable items, and address leaks promptly to extend system life.
