"Very polite. Answers texts and calls within minutes. Extremely well priced compared to others. Cleans up afterwards. Would never even know they were here. Will definitely be calling again for future tree services."

"Eugene and his team responded to our call when no other tree service in the area would. They came when they said they would, took everything down carefully, and cleaned up the wood and brush nicely. Their climber was extremely careful and seemed very skillful. They dropped a couple of dead trees into our woods at no extra cost, and chipped an enormous brush pile for minimal extra cost. We will definitely have them back if/when we need future tree work."

Customers say: Terrific value

"We were delighted with the work done by Kelly Brothers. Within three days of our initial contact with his company, Noah had come to our place, and walked our property with us to answer our questions, and make recommendations based on what we wanted. We had an estimate three days later, and and the amount was about half of what he had expected. The work was completed exactly as we had requested. Best of all, it was completed in less than three weeks from our first call to Kelly Brothers. We will certainly use this business for any future projects. We recommend these young men highly!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, but extensive trimming may take multiple days.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.

When a palm tree no longer produces new fronds and old fronds start turning yellow-brown, that’s a sign the tree is dying. However, transplanted palm trees can show these signs for the first several months as they re-establish themselves. It’s best to keep watering and not give up on the palm tree until a couple of seasons have passed and you’re sure it’s not coming back to life.

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

In the case that a tree is growing directly on your property line, the cost of maintaining the tree is shared and is the property of both owners in common. In this case, all decisions regarding the maintenance of the tree must be made jointly, and both parties must agree on a course of action. You will need to agree with your neighbor about the cutting of any roots before you carry it out, and your neighbor must also consult with you before doing any trimming. Coming to an agreement with your neighbor about any shared trees ahead of necessary trimming and maintenance will make this process much simpler.
