The technician Branden Young came in time to check the issue, and identified the problem: damper went bad. He went to get one (only one mile from my house), and replaced it. All work was done within one hour and 15 minutes. He is capable and very professional.

We were over charged a little bit. We had a problem. We called them and they came and fixed it. We talked to some people after wards and told them basically what they did and what they charged us. The people who know told us that they over charged us. That is the one complaint that I have. They came and did what they needed to do. I would use them in future but also hope that they will be more reasonable and upfront with their pricing. If I called them, I would have that discussion that we felt that we got taken a little bit the first time they came out.We would also ask for upfront fair pricing

I had 3 new kitchen appliances hooked up - a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a gas range. The plumber was on time, professional and did a good job in a nice time frame. There was a water dispenser hook up for the refrigerator, which required finding the water source and switching it on. Myself being new to the property and not knowing where it was located, the plumber searched until it was found and successfully hooked up the dispenser. Turns out it hadn't been used in the 10 years the previous owners had been there. Even though this took extra time, I was not charged more because the job had been quoted at a price I agreed on and not determined by an hourly wage. My Angie's List coupon knocked $89 dollars off of the quote, which brought the price down to $360 - a price better than another plumber I'd gotten a quote from

That describes my total experience with Jay Moody Plumbing and Heating, specifically with Steve Montuori and his crew Adam, Mike and Nick. It started with my initial meeting with Steve in my home. After having 3 other companies come to survey my home for installation of ductless heating and air conditioning units it was clear to me that Steve had the most effective and efficient design proposal. I contribute this to his experience and the volume of systems he has installed as a Diamond Elite dealer for Mitsubishi systems. I am a detailed technical person and I had many questions for Steve over several weeks after his initial visit. Steve professionally responded to all my questions and accommodated my specific requirements into a revised proposal. He followed through on his promise to come to my home on the day of installation to help me submit all available rebates. Technician made some decent recommendations and pointed out a few issues with the system. He pulled a bunch of lint out of our dryer vent so I'm looking forward to a more efficient dryer as well. "From start to finish it all went great. Had a sales rep ( Chuck) at our home within a day or two. He was professional, on time and very knowledgeable about the products . There were no pressure tactics to get us to commit to a contract , we did have an estimate from another company and he made a call and matched the price. He took all the measurements that night from the rooms and hallways and set up the installation at our convenience.

<br /> They have separate crews for carpet and wood laminate , day 1 was the wood laminate. It was a crew of 2 men right on time and very professional, Before they started they had me look at the samples that we chose for the floor to make sure that it was correct and they were off and running seemed to have worked non-stop all day until it was finished and did a walk through with me to make sure I was satisfied. They cleaned up all the debris from the work and swept and vacuumed the work area before they left. There were no problems at all during the installation.

<br /> Once again the carpet crew ( 3) was right on time the next day. Pretty much the same scenario showing me samples and verifying the colors for each room of carpet. As soon as i said a color was correct one of the guys immediately started working on the room, while the other started ripping up old carpet from the living room. Once again they worked seemingly non-stop until complete. cleaned up all of their debris and vacuumed the rugs. Very professional and polite when speaking with them.
<br /> A few days later the wood laminate developed a squeak that sounded like stepping on a partially deflated whoopee cushion. I called the 800 number as they are looking for 100% satisfaction and they sent the laminate guys back out and took care of the problem within 48 hours. so all in all I am 100% satisfied with Empire and would be happy to use them again.

He explained to us that our chimney was a mess and that he had to shut the hot water off until we got it fixed, no problem. We just had the chimney fixed and Walter came back to finish the initial tune up and we couldn't be happier with his service.
