"My walls were a mess. There was remaining wallpaper behind a radiator that was there for about 70 years or so. The plaster walls were a mess and that is why I decided to wallpaper it. Well Gary did a fantastic job of making the room look like a newly built addition. The seams are non-existent and he managed to stretch the wallpaper even though we were short a roll. Very reasonably priced too!"

Windows & Doors 2 each, minimum entrance type doors 5 each, minimum replacement windows We only do installations for windows and doors that are ordered through our company. Wallpaper steamers can be very helpful for removing large sections of wallpaper more easily, but they’re not always a good idea for DIYers. The drywall behind your wallpaper is meant to stay dry, and excessive moisture from improper technique with a wallpaper steamer can leave you with severe wall damage. Drywall also retains moisture, which could result in mold growth over time. It’s best to hire a professional to remove your wallpaper with a steamer to avoid wall damage and related moisture issues.

You’ll need to wash the walls to remove wallpaper adhesive residue after removal as part of the prep process for painting or rehanging wallpaper. Old adhesive can cause texture issues and prevent paint or wallpaper from adhering properly to the wall’s surface.

Stubborn adhesives, multiple layers, and drywall damage can complicate removal.
