"Very satisfied! There was a storm brewing during the timeframe they were supposed to come out. Called and said we needed to reschedule. Was quickly resceduled to an agreeable time and day a couple of days away. They came out promptly and took care of the repalcements. We had the lights for them to install. All went well and would definitely use them again."

"There is nothing more important to senior citizens like ourselves than to hire a respectful, reputable and affordable electrician like Jon. He was prompt and efficient and diagnosed quickly what needed to be done, even changing out a fixture on his initial visit. He was honest in saying that one of our lamps was not worth repairing and put on order a cabinet light that he will soon replace,"

"I have now had 4 pickups from this company. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. SO MUCH cheaper and better service than any dumpster company I have used!"

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

Outdoor lighting repairs typically take between 1-3 hours. The exact duration can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the ease of access to the lighting fixtures and wiring.

While most general electricians can repair lamps and light fixtures, it is often better to hire a lamp repair specialist. Many electricians prefer larger jobs, such as fixing electrical systems or relocating fixtures, and may not offer lamp repair services due to the small scale of the work. Additionally, some lamps, particularly antique models, require dedicated expertise that a general electrician might not have. A lamp repair specialist will be familiar with various types of fixtures and can provide a more dedicated service. If you have already hired an electrician for a larger project, you can ask them to look at your lamp, but for a standalone repair, a specialist is typically the best option.

Professionals enhance safety by addressing structural issues, securing loose components, and using non-toxic materials. They ensure compliance with building codes and conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards. Their expertise minimizes risks, making the home safer during and after repairs.

Depending on complexity and materials, costs range from $150 to $500 per fixture.

Professional repairs involve diagnosing issues, replacing components, rewiring, or repositioning fixtures to restore optimal performance.
