"Gabe and his team of painters did an excellent job. He was extremely responsive to our timing needs and preferences, yet was very detail oriented and took considerable care and pride in the work that was done. Gabe was on-site every day to supervisor and/or paint. The finished product was superb; we received excellent, quality work for a very fair price. Gabe and team did a great job on a fence that was tough in some areas to work with. They also matched the paint perfectly to the color we wanted and also fixed some stucco work to make the foundation look uniform. The team was extremely dedicated, as evidenced by the hours put into the job to meet our time line. I highly recommend Gabe. While this is the first timing utilizing his services, we would definitely hire him again for any painting needs that we have, interior or exterior."
Very well. He came by several times before hand to discuss and plan. He kept to the price, we had to add a section which was the right thing to do. Also performed need repair to stucco.
Held to schedule, actually finished ahead of time and kept us informed each step of the way. I have received many compliments on the workmanship and my neighbors may hire him in the future.

The decision to repair or replace stucco depends on the extent of the damage. For minor issues like small cracks, holes, dirt, stains, or discoloration, a repair is typically sufficient and more cost-effective. These issues can often be resolved with a simple repair, a deep clean, and possibly a new coat of paint. However, for more significant problems such as large cracks, peeling, mold, algae, or structural water damage, a replacement might be necessary. In these cases, it is best to call a professional stucco contractor for an inspection. An expert can assess the severity of the damage, determine if there are deeper issues, and advise whether a repair is adequate or if replacing a section or an entire wall is the more cost-effective, long-term solution.
The cost of a repair depends on several factors, including the severity, complexity, and type of damage. Other key elements are the cost of any necessary replacement parts, hardware, materials, or required software updates. Labor rates and whether emergency service is needed will also influence the final price.
The curing time for stucco typically takes several weeks to fully complete. During the curing process, the stucco undergoes a chemical reaction and gradually hardens. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco.
It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.
Tools include trowels, floats, and patching compounds. Professionals use these for precise and durable repairs.
The best way to assess that your stucco needs repair is to inspect it, both visually and physically. If you notice cracks, chips, or staining, that’s a good indication that your stucco could use some TLC by a professional. Additionally, if you touch an area that feels soft and has a little “give,” you should consider repairing it as soon as possible to avoid further damage, both to additional stucco spots and to your home’s structure.
