"We recently had a complete roof replacement. Before proceeding, we did comprehensive research of area companies and Vista came out on top, with good reason! "Overall, it went pretty well. I took a while to decide on which of the colours and edging I wanted; they did a good job of following up and reminding me. Since this work is for a house I'm renting, I wasn't always able to get measurements quickly. There were some quirks. The Big Deal price doesn't include removal and disposal of the old countertop; that was an additional $300. It also doesn't include the re-attachment of the sink as they don't do that work so I needed to get a plumber involved. To be fair, both of these were disclosed in the Big Deal and by them afterwards. Since this is template-based, I went out to the house and met an installer who created the template. He worked quickly but, unfortunately, his English was rather limited and several times during the entire project, he had to call their main office and hand me the phone so I could talk to someone there instead. This slowed down the process and made the interactions feel clumsy. On a positive note, they do care about the work; I had decided on 1/4" bevel edging and the main office called back and said that that edging has a higher risk of chipping and, since this is a rental, I should go with the 3/8" round instead, which I did. Since I was reusing my old sink, they brought the slab in and cut the hole for it on-site but used a vacuum and cleaned up the dust quite well. They also lowered the slide-in sink since the new countertop are thinner than the old one. This was after yet another back-and-forth conversation that resulted in a phone call to the main office so they could tell me they would do the work but wouldn't be liable for any resulting damage; there was none. The result looks good and once I get the sink re-attached, all will be well. There are still a couple of minor issues but it is a worthwhile upgrade."

"A Few Good Tradesmen was a good vendor for me. They were good at communicating prior to the job including working on the estimate and getting the work dates squared away. They arrived on the scheduled date and completed the job in the timeframe they expected.
We determined in advance which fence materials to use, and they showed up with the exactly correct materials and did a nice job of installation. The fence feels sturdy and the joints between the parts are nice and tight.
They had the two awnings down in short order without incident. Once they were down, the exposed siding needed touch-up, cleaning or something. Their original idea was to swap some of the damaged siding with good siding from the back of the garage, but they did not realize that the siding was aluminum (they thought it was vinyl) so they decided not to try to remove/replace siding and instead did a fair job of cleaning up the damaged areas.
The job site was clean after they left on both days of the two-day job.

"I had a home warranty, an extra policy on my house, so I had to use the people that they provided.  Other than their telephone answering, which takes forever, they were really good.  I was always glad that I had that coverage.  They had a person come out to confirm that my dryer was not broken and that it was the vent, and then I hired a provider to come and clean it. I had to pay the service charge for the technician to come out and  check my dryer.  When you try to call them you can never get through on the phone; they don't have enough telephone operators.  I never like to do it online because I wanted to talk to somebody and find out who they were going to pick as my vendor, because one time in all of the times that I used them, they sent me a really, really novice plumber who messed up my sink.  I think I had a broken garbage disposal or something that he didn't have the tools, his truck broke down on the way, he was very young and wet behind the years, and it was a company I never heard of.  So whenever I needed plumbing or maintenance on appliances or something, I would just call them and say I wanna use that other named company.  But they always do an excellent job.  I would say a B overall only because of how hard it is to get in touch with them.  For price, I shopped around before I renewed with them and they were very comparable to other companies and they didn't have a lot of exclusions, so I would say A.  I'm retired now and I won't be buying another house so I had to cancel my contract with them, but if I was going to, yes I would consider using them in the future. "

My Project Manager was Kevin Q. He contacted me the same day I called to get an estimate on repairs in my home. Set up a appointment the following week. Kevin arrived at my home on time and was very polite and professional. Kevin looked at each job I wanted completed, taking notes and measuring. Received estimate the same day and signed contact to have the work started. All prices for materials and labor were outlined and listed on the estimate for each item that needed to be repaired or installed. The estimate was a better price than I had received from 2 previous companies. As each job was completed I was able to inspect it and make sure it was what I wanted and looked good in my house. All jobs were completed quickly and I was very pleased with the service, professionalism and overall effort to keep the costs affordable.  I was provided with all receipts for any materials purchased.  I would highly recommend LSI, the staff is professional and efficient.
