Brothers Mike and Tom teamed to form RORHI in 2017 combining their years of experience as general contractors. We provide services in all aspects of home improvement but tend to specialize in decks, siding, paver, patio, and basement remodeling and installation. "I was with the contractor that made me think that because my good credit I was getting a good financing interest around 7% and he did not tell me that my granite steps had to be removed, he told me after the loan went through at a rate of almost 14% at this moment I would like to cancel the project, I am under a lot of stress and having back issues I am afraid that because I take time off from work I am not going to be able to pay for this high interest loan."

I consider myself a small project specialist, but also provide a deep skillset for remodeling projects. I help homeowners maintain, upgrade and improve their homes. I care and make sure the job is done correctly and offer a 3 year warranty on all my services. I don't do everything, I do a lot! If you have a punch list, I'm your guy!
"It went great. I have been looking for a trustworthy, local handyman based in central MA, as I have several projects I'd like to complete in the next couple of years. I started with the relatively simple job of installing an interior handrail in my stairway, and I found Nick's name on this list. During Nick's initial visit, we also discussed larger projects I'd like to have done in the near future. He had great ideas, understood what I was looking for, and sent me detailed estimates for the work I'd like to have done. His estimates were more than fair based on others I've seen (or, more often, those who don't bother to respond because they don't want to bother with small jobs like mine). Nick called today because he and his assistant had a gap in their schedule and I took them up on their offer to come three days before our scheduled appointment. They installed the railing in about an hour and it looks great. I look forward to working with Nick and his crew for future projects - no need to look further!"

"For the first 2 years, their M.O. is to communicate mostly through their online portal and email. Face-to-face communication is not something that they regularly schedule and asking them to do this has been met with no communication. In the first 2 jobs, their work was 'fine' for what they did with the exception that they didn't do what I asked and had to come back again to fix things (though they made some cuts on bushes that they were asked NOT to cut). This year, I tried again to communicate with them, but they were open to the job only through email and their portal. My attempts to speak with them were met with, literally, 'You should find someone else to do the work'. This year's job included 2 houses - one for my brother-in-law who is very ill and can't do the work he typically does himself. I thought that Twins Lawn Service would be more willing to at least do that job (a very small one), but again - they wouldn't even schedule it since I asked that they speak with me directly to understand the job. Buyer beware; call them at your own risk; I won't do that again!"
