By moving the laundry from the basement to the second floor was not easy because I didn't have a lot of space to do it and several people said that we can't do it but he's the only person who made it work and it's beautiful. "Pedro and his team were excellent. They were professional and timely, hard-working and meticulous, and trustworthy. Best of all (at least for me), is that Pedro is VERY responsive and his team is assigned to get your job done and done correctly. They show up on time every day, and were willing to work late into the evening to hit the project milestones. Pedro was 100% clear about the costs, and he made sure I fully understood the areas where the costs were not known or where the costs could possibly change. For example, he said, "If you open up this wall, I'm not sure what we are going to find." I told him to proceed and his team opened up that wall and found that the previous contractor had installed literally zero insulation. Pedro met with me, reviewed what his team had found, went over all of our options, gave me his recommendation, and only proceeded when I completely approved the additional work that would be done and the additional cost entailed. Pedro is a true partner and his team does great work. I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I have already booked them for another job renovating a first floor porch and creating a roof over the open-air second floor porch."

"I wanted a shower expanded. George Mavridis's estimate was very competitive but I hired him because I knew he was honest, quality focused and an open communicator. He has a small crew and excellent subs so he's not super fast. But Mavridis is excellent. One example: The shower needed a new fan, vented through the attic roof. The attic boards were all cut (before my time) in half when insulation was installed. The attic floor was unstable and unsafe. George was very busy but he had his team replace the boards with plywood panels...for 20% less than I expected. Why? Because he wanted to make sure I would be happy when the job was done. I could give 4-5 other examples but you get the point. If you hire George, you'll be pleased."

They were willing to wear masks inside our house. Installation went very quickly and smoothly. They knocked $25 off their usual minimum hourly rate because of the delay. Very friendly, would definitely hire them again (and probably will for A/C removal in the Fall). Would have been 5 stars except for the arrival delay."
