"I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. "This is the second time we hired Mike. Our projects were having our fieldstone basement repointed, adding a small piece to our existing fence to our garage, and adding paving stones behind the garage. While he was here, we showed him another project we were considering, and he was able to fit that in the following week. The second project was cleaning out the attic of the garage, removing the floorboards and installing a new 4-foot shelf in the attic ceiling, painting the interior, and installing 3 new windows.
