"We used Royal for a basic clean up and were very happy, so we used them for a big yard clean up, brush clearing etc. Royal also put in a large stone driveway. The workers are thorough and courteous. The customer service is great. Highly recommend. We used for our home and a rental cottage."

"Patrick contacted me right away and came out to give me an estimate….on a Sunday! He carefully listened to what I was looking for, gave me a very reasonable price and we scheduled an appointment. Patrick and crew just finished up and they did a perfect job. They were meticulous, cleaning up as they went. Limelight will be our go to landscape company for our future projects. I will highly recommend them to friends and neighbors as well."

Customers say: Quick response

"Andre responded quickly and came to my home to evaluate the job and provide me with a reasonable estimate. He showed up right on time and worked hard all day. He did an exceptional job cleaning up the yard which was overrun with pine needles and leaves. He loaded it up and carted it all away. He is very polite and customer focus. I will definitely use him again in the future. I highly recommend him for any yard services you may need."

"Marlon went above and beyond the call of duty for a project that would challenge several men. Heâ s an efficient one man company who takes pride in his work. Thorough, poised and consistent, Marlon is one you can trust. The shortage of landscapers on the Cape May never recover but add Marlon to your list now before his client base fills up. NOTE: I reached out to 3 companies recommended by this site and Marlon was the most responsive, best value and followed up with before and after pictures."

"Tobias did a beautiful job, My front lawn was a disaster .He came and gave me a fair price, came back when he said he would and dethatched, aerated and overseeded the entire lawn. My lawn has never looked better and helped me to sell my house in 2 days! My only regret is that I am moving off cape and will not be able to use his services but I will highly recommend him to the new owners,"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.

Hazardous waste is waste that poses a threat to human or environmental health. This generally refers to waste that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, or reactive. To confirm if the waste you need to remove is considered hazardous waste, contact your local hazardous waste facility.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.
