"We also used Sanborn Outdoor services for any control. James sprayed the exterior of our home and we havenâ t seen any ants since! We live in a very wooded area with water around us so mosquito control is difficult but the company has been able to keep the mosquitoes to a minimum and we are grateful."

"Very friendly tech came to examine our house. He was really late, but this did not matter - lost his way. The cost was way beyond what we are willing to pay for pest control (over $1000) but we do have a fairly problematic carpenter bee problem."

"John was a professional. He also listened to all my concerns. He worked with me to give me the services that would give me a clear apartment to my satisfaction and he was always available when I called him. He did whatever was necessary to get rid of my pest issue and he followed through with his services. He even gave me advice to deal with my landlord. John truly cares about his customers and delivers. I would recommend him to anyone needing pest control."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

The time it takes for termites to damage a house varies, but it generally does not happen within days or weeks. Significant structural damage typically takes several months or years to occur, with serious damage often taking 3 to 8 years. The rate of destruction depends on factors like the termite colony's size and maturity, the type of wood they are feeding on, and local conditions. It can take 3 to 5 years for damage to become visible and 5 to 6 years for the home's structural integrity to be compromised. However, some species, such as Subterranean termites, are more destructive and can cause extensive damage in as little as 2 years. Because of this risk, it is important to treat your home as soon as you notice any signs of termites.

While some pets, especially dogs, may chase rabbits away due to their natural hunting instincts, relying solely on pets to deter rabbits is not foolproof. Some rabbits can become accustomed to the presence of pets over time, and not all pets possess the same level of hunting inclination. What’s more, rabbits can potentially carry serious diseases like Tularemia and E. cuniculi, which they could pass to your pets.

The same heat treatment that’s effective on flea eggs will also destroy the adults. There are four stages of the flea life cycle—egg, larva, pupa, and adult—and you’ll have to keep all of them in mind when taking on a pest infestation in your home.

Fruit flies aren’t harmful by themselves, and they can’t bite or sting you. They can, however, spread bacteria around your home and can be a nuisance to live with. That’s why it’s important to eliminate fruit fly infestations quickly and enact preventative measures to keep them out of your house.

No, wasps only attack when they feel threatened. A sting may seem unprovoked to us, but we likely got too close to a nest. Threatened wasps do, however, send out a strong pheromone that instantly attracts any other wasps in the area.
