They minimize the use of harmful pesticides yet still manage to get the job done. We hired them for two properties that had different requirements, with one being much more difficult than the other. "Had a bird's nest under a built in AC unit. They were very careful to relocate the nest(had baby birds) and the parents were not disturbed by the change in location. All "nooks and crannies" were sealed with spray foam. Done in 2015. Birds returned in 2016, but couldn't get in!! Peace and quiet."

"Jim was great!!, when they came out for the initial visit I learned I had a squirrel nest in my chimney, despite having a cap and enclosed wood buring insert. Jim advised that I put moth balls in the stove in an attempt to have the mother leave the chimney. The appointment was rescheduled for the following tues to complete the sweep and replace the Chimney cap. Well the mother squirrel was gone but left behind three very new babies in the nest. Jim took his time and carefully removed the babies and we called animal control since they were alive. Jim then completed the cleaning and replaced the cap. Hopefully this is the end of the squirrel motel. But seriously Chimney Chap did an excellent job both with cleaning, inspection and going above what I would expect to safely remove of my unwanted visitors. I will be sure to continue to use Chimney Chap yearly and for any additional firelplace needs I have.
