"Frances is pleasant to talk with and was punctual and responsive. My problem was that he's probably too busy. When I received his invoice, he charged me for the recessed lights that *I* had already purchased and then I had to prove myself by showing him the receipt. He charged me 2x the Home Depot price for Romex (which I had 100 feet of in my garage, ready to go). He put in dimmer switches that didn't match the coloring of my house project (old switches were almond, new switches should have been white) and then indicated he thought I wanted almond color since those were in other places (so were the white!). He should have asked what color I wanted, but didn't and then didn't offer to replace them. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, I'd not hire him again."

I cut the copper cord with Centurylink where I was paying approx. $70 p/mo. for my home line and a custom ringing number for my home based business. "D & R Electric did an exceptional job. The work was done by Nicholas and Mark, two men who knew what they were doing and did it incredibly well. I can't say enough about their work. We had a mess going because of having used ADT and Vivint for monitored security - which was a disaster. We had two other companies before we called D & R Electric. They took down the equipment which didn't work; rtepaired the mess left by the security companies and it was extensive; installed three wall sconces - two of which had to be rewired and they were not easy being over 100 years old; they installed a door bell which worked unlike two installed before they arrived which did not work and one installed by Vivint left holes in my historical home which insects were going in and out of having a great time because the bell was installed by an unlicensed person. Everything I asked Mark and Nicholas to do was done with dispatch and elegance. We will call them again and have noted to homes we help manage that this is the electrical company of our choice and one they should use exclusively."
