"Had Henry remove a 12-15 inch thick 5x5 slab of concrete that needed to be removed. He showed up very quickly and knocked it out in a few hours with cleanup and haul away. Very professional and keeps you updated the whole time. Highly recommend."

"Team arrived early and worked hard all day to finish up by the end of the day. Left site clean and job looks great. Rob even fixed a piece of rotting wood on the side of the house while they were there. 3 years later no issues."

"Pat and his crew did a superb job on my driveway. They were all exceptionally polite and friendly to deal with. He told me that it would be started on Tuesday and completed on Wednesday and he kept to his schedule. Started 8am on Tuesday and was completed at 1pm Wednesday. He gave me a very fair price and his work was worth every penny and then some. I would highly recommend Waterman Paving to anyone looking for their next paving job."

"They did a great job - were quick to call and schedule, arrived on time and worked fast, and offered to also do the garage for a little extra money.  All of the "gunk" they took out of the gutters was taken away.

"I hired Greenflow to replace my bathroom tub surround in my tenantâ s apartment, and I would HIGHLY recommend Matt and his team. Matt got back to me right away and was able to work around my schedule to come look at the existing bathtub tile (which was all cracked and leaking) and evaluate the damage. He provided a very reasonable price for the job, and was very professional and considerate of my tenants. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the bathroom was cleaned up perfectly. (Iâ ve had a few contractors that did an okay job, but left trash and construction scrap materials all over the place). My tenants and I LOVE the new tub surround. Iâ d highly recommend Greenflow for any home improvements or repairs!!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

You can quickly melt snow on your driveway by adding rock salt, hot water, de-icer, and other melting products. These snow removal methods will quickly melt any snow on slippery ice from your driveway, making it safer to maneuver. For a more permanent solution, consider using melting mats or installing a heated driveway system.

It’s possible to use a torch to melt ice on your garage door, but we don’t recommend it. It’s very easy to bring the flame too close to the door, which can melt the weather stripping or even the garage door itself. You’ll melt ice quickly with a torch, but the damage you’re likely to cause can end up costing you a few hundred dollars to fix, which isn’t worth it. Instead, we recommend pouring hot water over the frozen area or using a less intense heat source, like a hair dryer or space heater.

Both rock salt and ice melt are naturally occurring salts. Rock salt is sodium chloride, which is the same as table salt. Ice melt products can be made from a combination of salts like magnesium chloride and calcium chloride or can be those salts alone.

Rock salt comes in large crystals, so it helps provide traction on icy surfaces, whereas ice melt products need to be mixed with sand to provide traction. Ice melt products work at lower temperatures than rock salt, so they might be a better choice if you have a harsh winter climate.

Be careful when choosing a product to help you remove ice from your wood deck. Never use sand, gravel, or salt, since these items can damage and scratch the wood. Instead, look for chemical de-icers that are marked as safe for wood decks or use hot water to melt snow and ice.

Clearing snow from your roof can be a tedious and time-consuming job. Even so, it is extremely important to maintain your roof during the winter months. You can help prevent ice dams and avoid roof collapse.

As a side note, rather than shoveling your roof, you should always use a roof rake to modify the job. Otherwise, call in a professional.
