"David is a great young professional. Made me feel very comfortable and addressed the various electrical needs in my house and went above and beyond. He installed quieter bathroom fans, new outlets, and changed out old dimmer switches to remedy some flickering lights amongst other things. He was very punctual, tidy, and friendly. I highly recommend."

"Highly recommend Kevin and his son. Excellent work and great professionalism. Needed to have a new water heater wired in and Kevin was at my home the next day earlier than scheduled which was perfect as he was able to work along side our plumber. Kevin is now my electrician for all future projects. Thank you so much."

Small jobs welcome

"I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from D'Amani Daniel. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. He arrived on time, communicated clearly, and were extremely professional. Not only did he fix the electrical issue quickly, but they also took the time to explain the problem and provided some great advice for future maintenance. The quality of work was top-notch, and the price was more than fair. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and the cleanliness of their work area. Highly recommend D'Amani for anyone in need of reliable and skilled electrical services. Will definitely be calling him again for any future projects!"

Lighting questions, answered by experts

You can take a few steps to prolong the life of your holiday lights. Make sure to replace burnt-out bulbs as quickly as possible to avoid overloading the rest of the circuit and knocking out more lights. Before packing them up each year, plug each strand into the wall to confirm everything is still working. Wrap the lights carefully back into their original packaging or something similar—winding a strand tightly together or leaving it to hang loose in a storage bin can lead to frayed or damaged wiring.

Local building codes typically require conduit around exterior wiring. Conduit protects the wire from moisture, extreme temperatures, sun exposure, and harsh weather conditions to prolong its lifespan. When a wire is worn out, it can be dangerous as the risk of electric shock or fire increases.

The majority of potential burglars are amateurs looking to make a quick buck after breaking and entering. By installing motion-sensor lights, alarm systems, and security cameras, throughout the home, there’s a good chance you will deter crime on your property.

The cost of lamp repair generally ranges from $30 to $150, with an average cost of around $75. Common repairs like rewiring or replacing a switch typically cost around $60 and $80, respectively. The final price depends on factors such as the type of lamp, the complexity of the issue, and the parts required. Keep in mind that repair costs may be higher for ornate or antique lamps. It's a good practice to ask for a price quote from a professional lamp repair service to determine if the investment is worthwhile.

Options include pathway lights, spotlights, and smart lighting systems. Choose based on function and aesthetics.
