Arthur answered my query within a day. Celso was out to look at requirements and prepare a quote with another couple of days.

Ede came in and removed all cabinet doors and drawers and took them to the Bright shop for prep work and spay painting.

Ede and Sam came back with the doors and drawers and worked very hard for 2 days, taping, covering priming sanding  and finishing. The doors and drawers were re-installed and the entire area thoroughly cleaned.

We could not be happier. The guys took off their shoes while in the house, were friendly and could not do enough for us. There was one minor issue that was my fault and they came back within a day and took care of it.

"I found Ed's information on the "big deal" on Angie's list, and contacted him right away after reading the positive reviews using the form on this site. Ed was back in touch with me by the end of the day and we scheduled a time 2 days later for him to come out to give me an estimate on the job. 
My husband and I were very frustrated at the point where I contacted Ed- we had just had to evict our tenants that had been renting our condo in Salem, MA. Not only had they not paid rent for 7 months, but they had been chain smoking in our apartment to the point where the walls, floors, and windows were covered in tar and everything smelled awful. We were out a lot of money and needed to get the apartment back in good shape when I contacted Ed, and Ed came to the rescue!
Ed was able to start the work just a few days after I contacted him. It was a good sized job- our condo is just under 1400 sq feet and we needed everything painted except the bathroom- including ceilings and trim. Ed included his "Big Deal"- 3 rooms (walls only) of painting for $450- into the price, and the total for all 5 rooms including the ceilings, trim, doors, and the radiators was $2200 which was more than fair for such a large job. This also included high quality paint in the color of my choice. 
The job took 4 1/2 days to complete and was done by Friday of the following week. When I walked in, the first thing I did was thank Ed- I no longer wanted to cry when I walked in the door. The place looked immaculate and no longer smelled like cigarettes. The paint job was meticulous- sharp edges and the double coat of paint really made the colors nice and solild. 
Ed was very professional throughout the job, keeping me informed of progress and getting back to me in a timely manner if I had questions. I highly recommend him and his company, and look forward to working with Ed again when we are ready to re-paint the house we live in.

"My rental property is an 1865 house. Most of the rooms have been updated but one room was in poor condition. The old plaster was loose and bulging in multiple places and the ceiling was one foot square tiles nailed to strapping. The owner, Rodolfo, came out to the house and took a good look at the project and then gave me an estimate. He conducted himself like a professional and also of the four estimates that I received his was the best, so we contracted his services. His foreman, Jose, ran the job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. In the past, I've always chosen plaster over drywall, but when Jose finished the work it was as good as any plaster I've ever seen. There were tenants in the house which can be a problem, but Jose made sure the dust and debris did not overflow into the rest of the house. He was respectful to the tenants and his work was outstanding. As a landlord of thirty years I've seen many contractors and I was very impressed with their work and the price. When they left the ceiling and walls looked like new and everything was freshly painted. Great Job!
