"Entire crew was very skilled and personable! The workmanship, communication and professionalism was impressive! "Tim and his helper arrived on time and proceeded to efficiently take care of reviving a stagnant garden fountain. Tim clearly knows all about water features and offered suggestions for its continued maintenance. He even went and purchased several rice fish and introduced them to their new home. Both young men were courteous and careful taking time time to prune back overgrown bushes and branches. I highly recommend them for any work on fountain and pond construction and maintenance."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Koi fish should be in the shade and can’t be directly exposed to the sun. Consider building your koi pond in a shaded spot or hanging an awning over the top to control the amount of sunlight coming in. Learn how to design a landscape properly.

Water features enhance aesthetics, improve outdoor ambiance, and provide a soothing, tranquil atmosphere.

Placing your water feature in direct sun can speed up evaporation, leading to pump damage and algae growth. Shade or partial shade serves as the ideal location for most water features—just watch out for tree and plant debris that may fall in and clog the pump.

Natural pools don’t necessarily attract snakes, although there is a chance they could stop by for a quick visit. They’re not likely to stay, however, because there’s nothing for snakes to eat in a natural pool environment. A well-maintained natural pool has clear water, so you should be able to easily spot a snake before diving in.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.
