"Asphalt Division did an amazing job at an amazing price and finished my (fairly long) driveway (including an area for a car turnaround) on time and ahead of schedule. The good experience started when my call was returned immediately, something that is rare these days where you are lucky if people return your messages at all. Next, John was able to quickly give me an accurate and fair estimate of the project price (using Google Street View) within a few minutes. Once the team was on site, they listened to my needs, and then executed them during the paving process. They were quick, professional, and cleaned up the surrounding area after they were done. The best grade of asphalt depends on traffic, weather, and your budget, which is why a professional’s input is always a smart move before making a decision.

The best way to stop your pavers from sinking is to ensure you've properly compacted the base layers. Use your paver compactor and work over the base layer several times to create the hardest possible base. If the soil and sand of your base are compact, you’ll experience less shifting and sinking.

The most common causes of sunken pavers are poor base preparation and insufficient compaction. The problem could also be how your pavers were installed. If the soil beneath your patio or walkway wasn't compacted, it will pull pavers down as it settles. Additionally, using bare soil instead of making a paver bed with compacted gravel and sand can cause sinking over time. To fix sunken pavers, consider recompacting the base and addressing any drainage or erosion issues in the area.
