"I wanted to clean a second floor dryer vent hose that was loaded solid with lint. It was worse than I thought! Packed solid! It became evident that this was a messy and dangerous situation as it was a fire hazard. Through Angi I found Everclean and the co. was a perfect fit. HVAC companies don’t do dryer vents. Justin from Everclean was awesome and got the problem straightened out. He even discovered the dryer vent had become disconnected from outside dryer vent door! I can’t fit through the narrow attic hatchway as my shoulders are a bit too wide, so I depended on Justin. Finally, everything is buttoned up, and our clothes now dry in half the time. Cost was moderate and was money well invested. Dryer vent fire danger is now negligible compared to before. Along with neighbor hatred danger. I would hire Everclean again if needed again."

There are two main reasons your furnace and AC are turning on at the same time. The first could be that you’re confusing the furnace with the blower. The blower is located in the furnace and will turn on to distribute cool air from the air conditioner through the ductwork in the home. This is normal. For the most part, you should leave your AC fan in “auto” mode so that it only runs during a heating or cooling cycle. Keeping it in this position uses less energy, which equals lower utility bills. Dirty filters are almost always the cause of poor airflow, so they should be regularly cleaned and then replaced as needed. Trees, shrubs, trash, and other objects could be too close to your unit.
