"They built new steps for us. They were communicative and responsive. The steps are fantastic. They even noted some structurally unsound parts of our porch and made reasonable quotes for this work as well. The job took a little longer than we expected but they were always up front with delays and proactive in letting us know about the delay."

"I was very pleased with the work of Buckland Home Contractor. So pleased I hired him for a much bigger job. Again very pleased with the outcome. In the process of doing the work he mention a problem that had been of concern to me. I added that also and again very happy with the out come. I recommend Buckland for your home improvement or repair work. I have some other things that need to be done and I shall use Buckland."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Bright's estimator arrived when scheduled, and responded within a week with a thorough written estimate and proposed terms. Initially, responses to my questions about the bid, submitted by e-mail and phone, went unanswered for several weeks, but as I was about to give up on this firm, Bright's manager responded to all the questions, apologized for the time lapse (due to a change in communications management), and agreed to a more competitive price. Subsequent communications were very responsive and we quickly negotiated and executed our contract without difficulty. We then agreed to start the job on a date that worked well for my schedule. Bright's painters began on schedule; carefully and skillfully repaired holes and cracks, primed walls and trim, and painted final coats to my satisfaction. Each day they arrived when promised, worked efficiently and carefully, and cleaned up in preparation for the next day. They responded quickly to my questions and requests, and made touch-ups whenever requested. Most days they worked 8 AM till nearly 5 PM with a lunch break, with a crew of two (three on a couple of days), and finished the job in just over two weeks. Bright's painters and management were a pleasure to work with. The quality of Bright's work was excellent, and they protected my furnishings and wood floors carefully. When I discovered several small omissions a few days after concluding the job, Bright's crew manager came back two days later to correct the omissions to my satisfaction."

"My choices were a little limited due to COVID crisis, but contacted 2 highest rated companies on Angie's. First was a small firm who was booked thru the Fall. Alliance has several crews and were able to get to us quickly. First visit was great (David), who provided the quote, alternatives, samples, pictures & addresses of previous work. Price was reasonable. Crew started a couple of weeks later. Very professional and courteous crew of three. Once they show up, they stay to finish the job. Separate gutter crew came shortly after siding was done. Cost was $28,000 for a 2 story cape with shake siding. We love the shake look compared to traditional horizontal siding, esp for a cape house. We highly recommend Alliance."

"After first making contact with Ronney, he was on top of things right away. He showed up the same day and we went over work to be completed. Ronney stayed in touch and showed up when he said they would. The cleaning service was remarkable and apartment looks great from top to bottom. I would highly recommend"

"Barn Rescue – My barn was hit by a vehicle, which broke a large post and pushed section of siding out from under the roofline, plus major damage at ground level. Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. They dug and poured a dozen footings and lally columns, supporting a line of new 6x6 and 9x9 beams that provide solid support to the house above. They showed up promptly every day, worked fast, and left the site clean and finished. Both Brad and Chad have a deep knowledge about old houses and the techniques that were used, and I felt my historic register property was in good hands."

"Lou, Lourdes, and Andrew were extremely thorough and a pleasure to work with for our pool tiling project. They worked hard and were dedicated to getting it exactly right."

"Mike carefully explained all facets of the job before beginning work, so I had an understanding of what to expect. His crew came prepared, clearly knew what they were doing, and were pleasant and professional at all times. I love the look of the back of my house, and, once again, can use the small porch to safely access the back yard. Most importantly, my large, screened porch was saved from further water damage, and its new roof ensures that, rather than leak through, rain will drain!"
