"Casey called me right away after my initial contact. He came to my house the next day and on his way he called me to tell me how far away he was. He examined my crawlspace and educated me as to what animal he suspected and gave me a rundown of this animals habits. Came again the next day with trapping and again called me on his way. Casey is super friendly and knowledgeable and offers extremely fair pricing. He’s my pest guy now. I highly recommend his service."

"Extremely polite technicians and thorough evaluation of my problem. I liked the fact that they preferred critter removal rather than chemicals. Interesting that they do not accept credit cards."

"Steve let me know he was on his way to my house. Upon arrival, he explained the process. He removed the nest and sprayed the branches near the original spot. He is professional, extremely polite, and meticulous. I am quite relieved now because we have children in the neighborhood and I was losing sleep over these wasps."

"5 stars all day long. I found a large active bees nest on the side of my house. So I reached out to Armor Pest Control. I talked to the owner and explained my problem. He gave me a quote on the phone and drove right over! He was respectful of my property as he did a thorough walk around to check for other problems. After the work was done, he gave me clear instructions and an explanation of the work he did. 100% would hire again for bee removal."

"This was the first time I used Angi⠠s list and am SO satisfied and SO impressed with the technician, customer service and explanation of the reality of bold face hornets & their danger to humans. A very aggressive bee. In my tight knit neighborhood, I was concerned for myself, my cat, families & other animals around me. Thank you Sean Crawford, I feel safe now. GREAT JOB⠅"

"Dave was excellent. He was professional, honest and thorough. I thought I may have squirrels in the house because I heard scratching above a ceiling and saw a squirrel climbing my chimney with acorns in it's mouth.
Dave inspected all the outside areas of my house and looked in my attic. He found no evidence of squirrels or bats or anything else (other than a few mice that I can take care of).
He screened off my two gable vents and recommended securing a couple of other entry prone areas which I can do.
I highly recommend Colonial Pest Control.

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

Attempting to squish a scorpion by hand or foot isn’t a good idea, as many can flatten themselves and survive a simple strike—plus, they’ll be provoked and very likely to sting. Instead, it's best to use a sharp or heavy object to pierce or crush the exoskeleton with force. Always wear protective clothing, including thick gloves, pants, and closed-toe shoes, to avoid being stung. Use long tweezers, scissors, or a knife to pierce the exoskeleton or crush it with a heavy object, making sure to twist or press down firmly to ensure the scorpion is truly dead.

Moles live underground and feed on insects. They dig and move through tunnels, usually in meadows or forests but sometimes in lawns and gardens. They are about 6 inches long with large claws, tiny eyes, and hidden ears.

Shrews do not dig their own tunnels but will use other animals’ tunnels, and are about 3 to 4 inches long. They look similar to mice and feed on insects.

Voles are similar in size to moles but have large eyes and small but visible ears. Rather than eating insects, voles are herbivores that prefer seeds, grasses, and plant roots.

Raccoons can spread viruses and bacteria to humans and pets, including rabies, canine and feline distemper, parvovirus, Salmonella, and leptospirosis. These can all cause a range of illnesses.

Squirrels rely heavily on their sense of smell and are deterred by a variety of scents. Some of the most effective smells for repelling them include peppermint oil, coffee grounds, white vinegar, garlic, cinnamon, rosemary, and predator urine. They also have a strong aversion to capsaicin, the compound that makes chili peppers hot, making capsaicin-based sprays an effective repellent for areas like gardens or bird feeders. For a DIY solution, you can create a spray from garlic and vinegar and apply it daily. Additionally, squirrels dislike strong, fresh scents, so placing items like strong-smelling soaps or dryer sheets in areas they frequent can also help keep them away.
