Also when the contractor started the job, he discovered that he couldn't do the job as agreed. It was originally agreed to use paved stone pavers instead of replacing my flagstone. But the existing foundation did not allow this. In the end, the contractor did what I originally wanted; and that was to reset my old flagstone. He adjusted the price accordingly.
