I am the third generation of Upholsterer's In my family. My Grandfather started in the 1920's and did it all his life. My Mother eventually learned the trade after seeing my grandfather do side jobs In their basement. I guess you can say I learned the same way she did. I have 12 years experience doing upholstery on my own yet I have been around it my whole life. My work has been featured In Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, Boston Magazine and Design New England. "I have a family member who is disabled, and spends most of her time in a particular upholstered chair. The seat cushion on that chair these days was not very supportive. Yesterday my relative was out at a doctor's appointment, so I called Landry Home Decorating and spoke with Mary. I explained the situation, and asked if they might have some time either Monday (yesterday) or Weds (when Eleanor would also be away from the house) to put a new insert in the cushion while I waited. Mary checked to see if they had the right materials and enough time to complete the job. Then she said if I wanted to, I could come in right away. So! I snatched the seat cushion off the comfy chair and hopped in the car. Mary arranged for someone to take the cushion and do the work while I waited. I browsed their extensive "library" of upholstery fabric sample books, and before I knew it, the cushion was ready! Really, it couldn't have taken much more than 15 minutes, 20 at the most. I had paid while the cushion was being worked on, so as soon as it was ready, I dashed out the door for home. Luck was with me, I was able to get in and get the cushion back in place before Eleanor made it upstairs and headed for her chair. It was a nice surprise for her. So, thank you to John Landry, and Mary, and the helper who put the new insert into the cushion. You were all friendly, helpful and efficient, and really made my day. I'm attaching a picture of Eleanor in her chair, after the cushion was put back in place. She's a happy camper! Thanks again for helping make this happen."

"They installed the wrong blinds that did not fit, then went MIA. Completely missing in action after taking our money, not even returning calls or coming to fix the blinds that were not installed correctly. At this price, there is no excuse to not having any customer service."

"The loveseat looks and feels better than anticipated. Included in price was refinishing wood, regluing, retying springs etc. Comprehensive restoration. Great workmanship. High standards. Great to deal with. Clear communication. As far as fabric goes, you can choose from their somewhat limited selection, or go elsewhere to purchase your fabric and bring to them. No problems either way. Will go to them for future reupholstery jobs. Highly recommend."

All projects are custom and fabricated to add a perfect aesthetic dimension to every home or commercial space. Mary McCormick works with every client to create the ideal window and upholstery design for them. Lead times average about four weeks from design consultation to fabrication and installation. A fifty percent deposit is required at time of order. Mary believes that her job is finished, when her clients love their window treatments and upholstered furniture.
