Small jobs welcome

"Sam mounted a TV for me and did a great job. He showed up when he said he would, took his time making sure everything was level and secure, and made the whole process easy. You can tell he cares about doing clean, professional work and not just rushing through the job. The TV came out exactly how I wanted it, and he made sure everything looked right before he left. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone needing a TV mounted or help with home tech installs."

"He is a very thorough and precise with his workmanship and he knows exactly what to do and how to do it . He not only mounted my tv but he also did the wiring as well so that none of my wires would show, he said let me make it look good and that is exactly what he did. He will be my electrician going forward and I would highly recommend him for any type of work needed done at your home or business."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

Reinforcing techniques and heavy-duty mounts are used to ensure stability and safety.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

Coax cable connects to your television, modem, or cable box. Look for a female coax connection on these devices. Your coax cable will connect to any of these. The other end of the wire runs to the service connection coming into the house.
