"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"They gave us the best rate and the setup was great for ADT system. The installer did have to tell us about other options that would cost more money but he did not pressure us when we declined. We had door, window and motion detectors included. They gave us a week to practice on the new system, but we could call if we were ready to go live sooner which we did. Set up was quick, easy and uneventful. Very nice installer, Phillip Brown. The cost was quoted at a low price, but the bill came from ADT and was much higher. We were told the contract to ADT did not catch up and we will be getting the lower price with a reimbursement for the excess of the first bill. We did the $99 install and are getting a $100 gift card back. 3 year contract is a little annoying but we plan to stay here for a long time."

Gerrit provided an estimate after our review. I did talk to other security companies but Lync was the obvious choice for me. Gerrit and his team were running a bit late on the install day but Gerrit called to let me know they were running late. That was great customer service. Gerrit and his team did a great job installing the system. The house was spotless when they were finished. Gerrit walked me through the system features and made sure I was happy with all of the work. I also had Gerrit install the SkyBell video door bell. The video is create and it is nice to have a two way communication with the person on the front porch. "We installed it ourselves. For all the equipment and everything it was $103. The price was very good because my monthly payment was only $49 a month. I like them better and I have heard too many horror stories for another company. Responsiveness, I would have to give them a 100%. I have set the alarm off by opening the door without turning it off and they were right on top of it to call and make sure we were okay. I love it. I feel safe. The quality is good. We own our equipment so when we move it will go with us. We have 9 sensors that came with that plus the other one that will go off when you move around, the motion sensor. I have had no bad problems at all. They are alert and call right away to make sure we are okay. I have the key fob and also it is battery operated if the power goes out. It is wireless and I can program it from my phone."
