"David did a wonderful job landscaping our back yard. He brought in about 10 Sasanqua bushes, planted them in new soil and mulched all the beds. He is reliable and knowledgeable. We told him we hoped to get the work done so the yard would look nice for Thanksgiving, and he accommodated us by doing the work the day before the holiday. If you need landscaping, do not hesitate to hire David Cedotal."

"My backyard was dull and boring and was in desperate need of a facelift.  Kerrin had some great ideas and worked miracles with my budget.  She was very creative and professional.  Her design for my new backyard included a beautiful lighted paver walkway and patio, and she re-purposed much of the existing materials and used them to enhance the
front door areas.  Kerrin and her efficient and meticulous crew worked diligently, and, within about four days, I had  a beautiful new backyard!  I would definitely recommend Natchez Landscape, and I will most certainly call on them in the future when the budget allows."

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.

While most general electricians can repair lamps and light fixtures, it is often better to hire a lamp repair specialist. Many electricians prefer larger jobs, such as fixing electrical systems or relocating fixtures, and may not offer lamp repair services due to the small scale of the work. Additionally, some lamps, particularly antique models, require dedicated expertise that a general electrician might not have. A lamp repair specialist will be familiar with various types of fixtures and can provide a more dedicated service. If you have already hired an electrician for a larger project, you can ask them to look at your lamp, but for a standalone repair, a specialist is typically the best option.

Table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers, desk lamps, and antique or decorative light fixtures that hold sentimental or aesthetic value are commonly repaired.

To maintain your outdoor lighting and prevent major issues, you should regularly clean the fixtures, inspect the wiring and connections, and replace worn or burnt-out bulbs promptly. These simple steps ensure consistent operation and extend the life of your lighting system.

Professional repairs involve diagnosing issues, replacing components, rewiring, or repositioning fixtures to restore optimal performance.
