"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

"A job that in past took the painters I hired a week or less to complete took Mr Soto’s crew almost a month. The first week was pretty much due to bad weather. The following weeks they did not show up everyday but I guess this was more than likely due to probably having multiple jobs going on. I still think the job could have been completed and done well in a lot less time. If ever having to have work done again in the future I’ll be sure to get a “timeline” written into the contract. On a very positive note, their work was good. Had to point out a few things fir them to address but Mr. Soto always made it right. They always cleaned up around the work area before leaving for the day. My home looks great. Patty McMurry"

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors. 

Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. To calculate the number of linear feet of baseboard you’ll need, measure the length of each wall of the room you’re installing them in as close to the floor as possible, rounding up to the next full linear foot. If it’s your first DIY molding job, having a few extra feet on hand for miscuts is a good idea.
