"We’ve custom-built and remodeled homes on five occasions and from that perspective I give SES a solid thumbs up. They recently completed a kitchen renovation on our apartment and we are very happy with the outcome and the price paid. Perry’s estimate was detailed and specific and allowed us to complete the project as scoped for the price quoted — a first for us. The project progressed at an acceptable pace and SES coordinated well with the subs we selected ourselves for cabinets and countertops. As is the case with all builders, there were a few glitches and some of their crew were more skilled than others. Their demo crew, cabinet installer and tile guy were first-rate, their paint guys OK and their floor guy and cleaners not very good. SES addressed concerns related to the latter two with redos and fee reductions, respectively. They inadvertently disposed of $300 worth of cabinet lighting they were supposed to reuse, but they immediately agreed to replace it at their expense. Similarly, I had asked them repeatedly to provide me with copies of receipts for parking so I could get these reimbursed by the insurance company (the project was necessitated by water damage caused by our upstairs neighbor) but they neglected to do so and as a result offered to not charge us for parking (which HAD been included as a line item in their bid). Owner Shawn was very personable and responsive, and office manager Ashley was a pleasure to deal with, keeping things moving along and ensuring punch list items and other requests were addressed in a timely fashion. Communication generally was excellent. There were no times when anyone became difficult to work with, another first for us. I would gladly use SES again and I recommend them without reservation."

I initially had wanted the carpets in 3 room cleaned; however, someone was occupying one of the bedrooms, so I asked if he could clean an area rug instead. It cost me a bit more, b/c, apparently, rugs are priced by the square yard. He left everything cleaner than I can remember in a long time."

"I live in an area where we have well water.  The water periodically comes out a rust color.  Through the years of my water coming out this color, it had severely discolored my tub and shower.  It was so severe, that my white tub was taking on a faux marble effect.  All underneath the jets/filter in my tub had drip marks. I had bought every cleaner on the market to try and make my tub and shower white again but had no luck. I realized that the rust color had penetrated the surfaces in my tub and shower and there was no hope in cleaning them without getting professional help. I went on Angie's list and contacted Tub Pro Refinishing.

• Bryan came out and gave me an estimate not only to refinish my tub and shower but to also take off my shower doors that I could not get clean either.  Bryan came at the time he promised and gave me a reasonable estimate.  A few weeks later I contacted him to do the job and I cannot say how much I loved his work!  It looks like I have a new tub and shower.  Bryan is not only personable but professional.  I would highly recommend him to anyone.

"It turned out fine. They probably had a few ahead of me, so it took them more than a week to get to me, but they got here, they came in, they did their job, they cleaned up and every time I was satisfied. There was an additional cost because my square footage was greater than the 2000, they said it was 2000 sq. ft for the deal, and I was a little bit over that. I also had some of the terracotta tiles at the peaks of the roof, I was missing some of them and they got them for me, added it on and charged me for it, and everything is fine. They finished last week, and it took them four days to finish. Everything was great, I have no complaints. They were on time, they were here everyday."
