They took care to protect the floor from the door to the bathroom everyday and cleaned up after themselves every evening. The owner came over a couple of time to check on progress. "Bob responding promptly to my request for an estimate, and we had a very cordial discussion of what needed to be done.  A few days later, he provided me, via email attachment, a description of the work he would perform, and the cost.  I obtained two other estimates from other paint contractors.  One of them came in at roughly the same price and the other was about $5000 higher.  
When I decided to go with Bob's, Bob informed me that they could start the work in a couple of weeks.  A few days before the start date, he rang me up to let me know they were coming.  As I have a B&B in the lower part of the house, I asked if the workers might try to accommodate my guests' schedule.  They said that they'd do the best they could not to bother the guests, and they were as good as their word.  The work crew was a friendly, prompt, hard working, and professional group.  Bob stopped by each morning the first week to give the crew their instructions and to consult with me about the progress of the work.  He also stopped by at the end of the day to check on the work. A couple of times, he had the workers redo some prepping that didn't seem entirely satisfactory.  I was very appreciative of this oversight of the job.  During the second week, Bob left on a trip and his son took over the supervision.  He was also a good communicator and easy to work with.  I changed my mind about the color scheme on the front porch a couple of times, and Bob's group was very willing to accommodate my wishes.  They were also wonderfully responsive to any other concerns or questions I had during the course of the job.
Overall, I was very pleased with Bob's work and with his crew.  They were courteous, fast, communicative, cordial, and very professional.  They have my highest recommendation.
