Landscape brings together the rigidity of buildings with the softness of nature. We believe strongly in the concept of your landscape being an extension of your home or business. We even consider it another room of your property. So we approach each design with the owners needs in mind. After detailed meetings with our clients, we design everyone's Garden of Eden. Our love for nature and beauty is represented in each landscape we install or maintain.

We are a local New Orleans company that started after Katrina providing demolition and hauling services to help cleanup and rebuild our city. After some years in the business we saw a demand for other jobs that somehow relate to the kind of job we do and require the right kind of equipment and man power we have. Services like concrete, pavers, masonary, tree service, dirt and gravel deliveries also became some of our specialty services. We understand how hard it can sometimes be to make money so we always try to get our customers the best price!

"I used them after getting a recommendation from a friend, but don't think I will use them again in the future. The fence got delayed a bit because of utility services I guess and the weather, so it took a couple weeks longer than expected to have the new fence built. Their initial estimate says they will charge a fee if you use a "credit card" but it also includes debit cards, which was not stated, so I'm having to pay an additional 125$ I wasn't expecting and honestly don't have to spend right now. I can't prove they did it for sure, but I'm fairly certain they broke the hinges on my gate then wanted to charge me extra to fix it. Reviewing my cameras it looks like it was damage while they were removing the old fence. They managed to get the gate "fixed" without charging me more, but it doesn't sit right now. The fence is also not flush with the ground like our previous one was, which I guess isn't the biggest deal, but we have small dogs and I don't want them to get out or think it'd be easy to dig under the fence that's already off the ground a few inches. Overall I'm honestly not happy with the service, but at least I have a fence again."

Stone and Gravel questions, answered by experts

Some older brick material is extremely hard, making it tough to create a hole. Rather than using a typical wood drill bit, always use a masonry drill bit when drilling into brick. For extremely hard brick, using a power drill with a hammer function may give you better results. The drill bit will heat up as it goes into the extremely hard brick, so you may need to stop after a few minutes and allow the bit to cool before starting to drill again.

While painting can certainly change the look of a chimney, you should think twice about giving your brick chimney the old landlord special.

Painting brick is porous, meaning it’s full of tiny holes that can soak up moisture. Those holes also allow it to dry, though. So, when you paint it, you trap any moisture inside, providing an opportunity for mold, mildew, and water damage.

Paint also shows wear faster than naked brick. This means that once you paint a brick surface, you’ll have to keep painting it to maintain a clean look. A paint job is also harder to undo on brick because of its porous nature. Once you paint it, it’s hard to go back without some serious power washing—another added cost.

Yes, brick can breathe through limewash. Limewash is a breathable coating made from natural lime and water, allowing moisture to pass through while providing a protective layer. Unlike synthetic paints or sealants, which can trap moisture within the brick and lead to issues like mold, limewash allows the brick to maintain its natural breathability. This characteristic makes limewash an ideal choice for historic structures where preserving the integrity of the brick is essential.

Brick is the closest choice when seeking to capture the timeless look of stone with a more practical and budget-friendly option. When comparing stone versus brick siding, the price range of $200,000 to $400,000 for average brick home construction is dramatically lower compared to the cost of building a stone home. If you'd like to keep the stone aesthetic without the cost, stone veneer and manufactured stone are both less expensive than real stone.

You should use cement for a chimney crown. The purpose of the chimney crown is to protect the mortar below from water damage and the effects of weather. For this reason, chimney crowns should only be made using cement. When repairing a crown, use caulks and sealants designed for cement repair rather than mortar repair.
