"Mr. Strahan responded to my request for an estimate promptly. He spent time on the roof and confirmed we had hail damage. He gave us several options for repair or replacement. He explained what he would do for a replacement and showed us the materials he would use. I knew he was using the proper materials from roofing research I did before his visit so I was encouraged. He provided a written estimate to give to our insurance company. After confirmation from the insurance company we signed a contract with Strahan Roofing to do the work.The materials were delivered by the work crew promptly on the day they started the roof. They put tarps around the house to catch any debris and had a trailer to load the old shingles onto. The crew did one side of the roof the first day and made sure enough was done so that there would be no problems if we had an evening rain. The second day they finished the second side of the roof, completely cleaned around the house, picked up any nails that fell with a magnetic strip, swept the garage where the material were stored, the driveway, and the patio and moved the patio furniture back. Mr. Strahan visited that evening and inspected the job. He asked if we were happy with the job. Then he asked for payment. We paid nothing prior to the work being done. My husband and I are very pleased with the job and the professional way that Mr. Strahan and his crew comported themselves. We have the nicest roof on the block!
