"My child was sick and had thrown up in the middle of the night all over his carpet. Spoke with Michael the owner, who was very professional. Although he could come that day, he provided suggestions and reassurance about how to handle it until he could make it there the next day. He was prompt, listened to what I tried, and then explained what he had that might and might not work. He was able to get out the stain as well as the odor. I could not be more pleased with his personable demeanor and the quality of work. I will be following up with having him solve/fix a couple of other issues we have at the house."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

The complexity of installation depends on the type of flooring you choose and the level of expertise required to install it. While some materials, like vinyl or laminate, offer relatively straightforward installation processes suitable for DIY enthusiasts, others, such as natural stone or hardwood, often require professional assistance from a flooring company to ensure proper fitting and longevity.

You can expect your carpet protection to last about six months to two years. It will last longer in low-traffic areas (compared to busy areas, where your carpet experiences more wear and tear). Once the protector wears off, you’ll need to call your carpet contractor to reapply the stain protection treatment and revive your carpet

Yes, nylon carpets are suitable for homes with allergies due to their hypoallergenic properties. Nylon fibers are resistant to mold and mildew growth, minimizing allergen accumulation in the carpet. Additionally, nylon carpets are often treated to repel moisture and stains, further reducing the risk of allergens and promoting a healthier indoor environment for allergy sufferers.

In most cases, laminate flooring is better for people with dust or other allergies as laminate is easier to clean. Carpet can trap pollen and other allergens, allowing them to be kicked up into the air again with foot traffic. Consult your flooring specialist about the best types of carpet or laminate flooring to use based on your household member’s needs.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction and friction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls. Additionally, if a fall does occur, carpet offers more cushioning, which can lessen the severity of an injury. While hard surfaces can look great, they are often more slippery. However, it's worth noting that some carpets, especially if they are new, dirty, or have a slick texture, can also pose a slipping hazard. To improve safety on any type of stair surface, you can add traction treads to increase grip.
